internal grant letter
We would like to be able to print a letter for an internal grant. Currently, when we process a grant from a DAF to another foundation fund, it prompts to choose if we want a tax receipt and then we can select a tax receipt template, but there is no option to print. We understand this isn't a tax receipt, but often need to notify a donor confirmation their grants have been made, even when it is to one of our funds and not an external recipient. After talking with chat, we were told there is no way to do this currently.
I find the category/terminoligy tax-receipt a little misleading and we often have thank-you or acknowledments for gifts that aren't tax-receipts such as gifts from external DAF funds, IRAs, etc.
If there is a way to do this that chat and we aren't aware of, please share,. Otherwise, please vote for this idea! We love to see grants going from our DAF into other foundaiton funds and this will expedite that process.
