Making donation descriptions an option for fund advisor portal
We've been using the gift description field for insider notes and things we want to flow into a gift receipt template - such as specifics about stock gifts. But many of our funds are set up by clubs and organizations, so the people using the portal shouldn't see that information. Please make the gift description something that can be turned on and off depending on the fund advisor, like we can turn receipts and the grant catalog on and off.
The description field has always displayed on the portal. It will continue to display in the new Portal. Anything that should not be shared in the portal should be added to a note attached to the donation record.
