Limit Who Can Share A Note to Portal
Back in February 2024, you guys added the feature to share a note on a grant to the fund advisor portal. But the Share option is available on all notes.
Success explained that you are looking to build out this functionality for notes on other records.
Before you do that, can we ensure there is a strong model for who is authorized to share a note to a portal?
We currently allow all staff to add a note because it could only be seen internally. Now we have a risk of someone inadvertently or intentionally clicking on "Share" and that note is now on external-facing.
Can we place an approval step before sharing a note? Or can notes be handled as a permission choice for all areas similar to how you manage files?
