Field Commentary for Edit/Data Entry Modes
It would be nice if we could write comments for fields. It would enable us to have in-line recommendation for our conventions when entering new information. The system already does this as provided by Foundant, for instance:
When entering a donation, the donation field has italicised text next to it "Donor wishes this donation to be anonymous" when in edit mode. It would be nice if we could add that kind of text ourselves to any field so that when we had edit mode open, it would show us our own recommendations for fields.
For our tax receipts, we have specific rules about when to require them and not, it would be lovely to be able to note "Do not uncheck this unless X, Y, Z"
Or how when we create org profiles we match the org name and recognition name, it would be nice to be able to add, "Match Rec to Org Name" next to the recognition field.
This would just offload some of the process/procedure overhead managed in external documentation and allow staff to have a bit smoother system use experience.
