  1. Currently, Grant Catalog only accepts monetary donations to support the needs of Grantees. We would like to propose an additional option allowing donors to contribute essential items, which could then be tracked through the platform. For example, we envision connecting Grantees with local hardware businesses to provide computers and other tangible resources.

  2. My idea is for the donor portal. When a donor advisor submits a grant, it would be super helpful for the "short name" of the fund to populate on the Grant Request page that we use to process the grant. The fund name populates but we use the short name when processing through payables to pay the grant. We have several donors who have more than one fund and this would take human error out of the process.
    I am not talking about the donor choosing the wrong fund on their donor portal. I am talking about the Grant Request…

  3. We hold a paid program for executive directors for other local nonprofits every other year. We use C-Suite's Invoices to invoice the nonprofits. For those nonprofits that pay by credit card, the transaction ends up in Donations. It would be great to link their "donation" to their open invoice.

    In the new portal, a profile will be able to pay an invoice by credit card with the customer tab enabled. This could eliminate this problem. To apply a credit card payment to an invoice, it must be a profile payment, not a donation.

  4. If the donor fails to enter anything in the 'Whom to notify' area, the donation will result as a non-notify tribute. As the donor as elected not to notify the tribute, we are unable to modify and link to an established tribute.

    We have chosen NOT to display our tribute names to the portal for several reasons. Now that CSuite assumes that if someone enters a Tribute name without notify contact information, that means the donor does not want to send a notification. However we are finding that the donor may have simply not known who to notify.

  5. When using an Opportunity Template, the only option is to print the letters, there's no option to email them. Please incorporate the option to email letters in batch (all records selected from the listing of open opportunities) for Opportunities.

  6. Add date filters to the Campaign Income Statements, that allows for information to be pulled for specific date ranges - i.e: to be able to view the IS for a specific period or month rather than the current YTD.

    This ability will assist with audit preparation as some events cross fiscal years

  7. When we integrate GLM to CSuite for Grant Catalog use, there is no way to add the grant catalog identifier to the bulk donation upload template. We have several foundations that do Giving Day and they have nonprofits apply in GLM to participate, we integrate to CSuite for Grant Catalog. While some donate online and it works great, many people donate in person on Giving Day with a check or cash. In these cases (and could have upwards of 200-400 cash / check donations), our accounting department has to add the grant catalog field after they complete the bulk upload…

    You should be able to create this in reports. In Custom Reports, find the Voucher default report. This can be grouped by Vendor (or filtered to a specific vendor). The Amount and Amount Paid fields can be totaled by column. This report defaults to current year, so the Voucher Date filter can be changed to the date range you need (including All in the relative filter).

  9. We would like to be able to assign check templates to funds. We have our default check and several other check templates. Almost all of the additional templates are specific to certain funds. It would be great if we could set a default check for each fund.

  10. Currently event ticket sales is the only place to post an item to sell where the proceeds will benefit the fund. This is confusing for some folks how it appears to the buyers. We are selling a book where the proceeds will benefit one our funds. In the future there could be campaigns selling a t-shirt or other items with all proceeds benefitting the fund.

  11. When posting/approving grants, if there are no more grants to be reviewed, why do we have to then click to return to the grant you just approved? This extra step will really make a difference in Q4 when we're posting several hundred grants.

  13. We would like to be able to edit a campaign after tickets are created. Currently, we cannot edit any information on the "Details" tab once tickets are created. Sometimes, we need to make slight changes to descriptions or event names and cannot do this once tickets have been added to the event.

  14. The observation of not being able to save a backdated maturity date for a Term Investment doesn’t make sense. When modifying all the term investments to make it easier to maintain in Foundant, I didn’t have an issue with the majority that I had to backdate.

    For the term investments that don’t have an edit option for the maturity date, this will not work in the future. I need to be able to always have the ability to edit the term investment if something comes up, it can’t only ever be edited once. That is just not possible/doable. I’ve found…

  15. One of the most limiting things about using Foundant is the lack of connectivity to other platforms that we all use. Even in cases where there is some integration (like with MailChimp) that integration is extremely limited.

    I found those ideas all via one quick search in the Idea Lab for the word "integrate." I bet there are many other requests that could also be solved this way.

  17. It would be great if we had the option to view all notes for a household and any member profiles in one location. We can make a custom report for this but it involves using a filter. It would be easier for all users if there was an option to view all notes while on the Household profile.

  18. Add Contact First and Last Name as field options for year end tax receipt templates. It would be nice to add the name of an organization's primary contact (which we add to org's first and last name, plus first name in the Salutation) so when sending tax receipt letters for our annual giving day, we don't have to edit the PDF to include the names (I've already voted that these export to Word files). Thank you!

  20. Looking for a way to collect donations from donors who don't want to write a check or use a credit card (use ApplePay, PayPal, Venmo, etc). Donors are looking for an easy way to make a quick donation on their phone and/or use QR codes for making donations. How can this integrate to capture donor information?
