An error occurred while saving the comment Sara Cryan commentedThis would be extremely helpful for SLM as well to be able be able to have an application as incomplete vs marking it abandoned. I would like to use "Abandoned" strictly for applications that were never submitted or submitted on accident, and use "Incomplete" when an application is submitted but is missing 3rd party requests, file uploads, etc.
I think adding a quick "Ineligible" option would also be extremely helpful. Many applicants will submit applications when they aren't eligible. Those applications are not even presented to our committees for review so it would make more sense to mark them as ineligible vs having to deny or mark them abandoned.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sara Cryan commentedI work in SLM, but I have actually been thinking the same thing. I proxy in as applicants all the time for various reasons so it would be much more convenient to stay right on that request when I stop proxying as the applicant.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sara Cryan commentedAddition to my original suggestion is to be able to see the name of the profile(s) that is connected to that note instead of the profile reference number. It would be extremely helpful to see the actually organization, household or individual name on that profile exactly how it is when you link profiles to funds and fund advisors. It would also be consistent since when you are on a profile page, you can clearly see if that note is linked to the fund because it has the fund link with its name right in the note.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sara Cryan commentedI also agree that it makes sense to have the organization's email template. It is confusing to receive 2 separate emails and typically the one from the student goes to the 3rd party's junk mail.
What if 3rd Party questions were set up like this:
1. Applicant enters 3rd Party email address (same as before)
2. Applicant types in optional personal message (instead of composing a separate email)
3. The organization's template shows up so they can preview it with their personal message.
4. Applicant hits sends message.Sara Cryan supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Sara Cryan commentedThis would also make it easier in SLM as we get many applicants asking if their requests have been submitted. It would be ideal if Administrators could allow the 3rd Party Request questions to be anonymous or not anonymous. Right now everything is only anonymous but it actually makes more sense to have most stuff visible to the applicants.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sara Cryan commentedThis was a feature in a previous system that was used and it is perfect as high school and college students are more likely to check their texts before emails. Basically when you would set up your system generated email templates, you could check a box so that when that email message went out a text message was also sent out. The text message had a limited number of characters so the text was typically the subject line of the email with a message that said to check your email to find out more information.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sara Cryan commentedThis would be extremely helpful as we have some scholarships that we still have to send letters too and we have a decent amount of international applicants.

I agree! I think having a 4th category in the Application bucket called "Submitted-Pending" or something along those lines.
