Linking directly to applications
My organization uses Foundant for scholarships opportunities and we have a variety of different scholarship fund applications in the system. I'd like the ability to direct applicants right to the application they're interested in after they log on, yet still have the ability to go back to the Apply page and see all of the scholarship opportunities. I asked this question to my client rep and received this response as a work around, but it doesn't seem like it would work well for us:
"There is not a way to link directly to an application. The system must always
be accessed via the log on page first. Based
on the number of scholarships in your system, I don't think there would be any
benefit to reordering your processes unless there is one process that gets
applied to the majority of the time. Then I would have that process appear
first in your list. If
you want to point applicants directly to a specific process, I would make the
the process restricted; available only with an access code. When the applicant
enters the access code then that process, and that process only, will appear to
the applicant. (Note that processes with an access code will not appear on the
apply page unless until the code is entered). This option really only works if
you are directing every applicant to a specific process."

I agree - that is, I would like to have links that take the applicant to the log on page (with create account option) then default directly to a particular application after log in/account creation. We have a list of links on our website for various grant applications. I have seen other websites do this (default to a particular form after log in), so I imagine it's possible, though it is probably complicated to achieve... This would be a good component for the redesign of the applicant interface.

Thanks for the suggestion - and I'm sorry the suggestion you received doesn't work that well for you. To help me understand your scenario better, do you have links on your web site that applicants will click? If not, what exactly is the mechanism that you envision for directing applicants right to the application they're interested in after logging on.Thanks in advance for your feedback.
