Moving application to draft for minor correction and not losing relevant evaluation data
One of my evaluators pointed out that an applicant's attachment was incomplete. I had the applicant email me a corrected attachment, but now cannot attach it (by moving the application back to draft) to his application without deleting two completed evaluation forms associated with the application. I uploaded the corrected attachment as a Request Document and noted it in Request Comments. The incomplete attachment is still in the application though.

Hi Annette and Mary,
As of 5.0 GLM - which was released on March 7 to production -
you should now have the ability to edit an applicant's response
(including uploading a replacement file) without having to move the
entire application back to a Draft status. Note that when you edit a
question in this scenario, your name and the date you modify the
response will show up under that answer to you and other Administrators.
Thanks again
for the suggestions. I hope the
new functionality is useful and valuable to you going forward!

Hi Annette and Mary,
In the 5.0 release - which should be in your Demo sites by March 2 - we have added functionality to allow an Administrator to correct answers without having to move the request back to a prior stage.
Thanks for your suggestions and comments. I'm looking forward to hearing how you like the new functionality.

I would very much like the ability, on the admin side, to substitute a correct document (sent to me via email) for an incorrect one in the application. (We should be able to do this without moving it back to draft, which is another way of tackling Annette's suggestion.) That way it would pull properly in the merge... and be part of the permanent record. The ability to add request documents is a work-around, but not a great one.
