form builder page - "modified by" column is incorrect
I like being able to see which staff last modified a form... that is, I would like it if it were accurate. The "Modified By" column does update when you move questions, but not when you edit the question text within.

That actually makes sense - thanks for explaining why it's happened, and looking into a future solution.
Re process Last Modified Date, where does that show up in the system? I didn't know that processes had this date showing anywhere - I guess that's why it hasn't tripped me up so far. I think the process modified date should update if the description changes, or the report fields, or the process notifications, or the form selection, but not due to edits to the forms themselves (since you may change which form you have attached to the process, and then the "last modified date" becomes nonsensical). But... I think I could live with it either way. The form modifications are really what I worry about.

Hi Mary,
Totally see the point of your suggestion. One of the challenges is that when you edit a question, the database element you are actually changing is a question, so that's where the "Last Modified Date / By" is updated. Obviously that's not how an end-user like yourself perceives the change, so we'll have to figure out how to roll that action up to the form that contains that question.
An interesting - albeit only slightly related question - is should the process also be updated with the new "Last Modified Date / By", since any time a question within the process changes, the process technically is updated? I know that's a bit of a tangential question, but as you might appreciate, it's not exactly easy to determine where changes should stop rolling up.
Thoughts? In the meantime, we'll look at your suggestion as part of the report field re-architecting. No promises, but it definitely makes sense. Thanks!
