LOI decline vs application decline

We would love to be able to see whether a past grant was declined at the LOI stage or the application stage on the organization summary page. Currently, the application status simply says "denied" if a grant was declined, but for us it is important to know at which stage a past grant was declined. As it is now, we have to go through multiple steps, looking at what we have from the applicant and determining if it is a full application. Simply stating that information on the organization summary page would make this an even better "at a glance" option for staff and trustees.

    This is something we have wanted for years, and maybe it isn't a high priority for other funders, but it has been a priority for us.
    I wanted to see if this has had any traction? The suggested identifier is good and we would love to see this put into "Implemented" status. Is that likely???

    Adding my support for this - adding a request status of "Denied (LOI)" and "Denied (Application)" would be so helpful. Thanks!

    Hi Chris, I'd like to add a vote for this as well - it would be useful to see 'at a glance' if the denial was at the LOI stage vs. application stage.

    I agree with Jessica and would like to add our name to the list of desiring to see the detail of which stage the denial was given. I realize it is tabled for now, but here is my vote for the change.

    Hi Jessica,

    Just an update - our Product Team discussed this, and for now, we're going to table it. I expect we'll revisit it as we look more at some user interface updates later in the year. I'll leave it marked as "under consideration" so we don't lose sight of it. I think there's value to making information more readily accessible, and this request definitely falls into that category. There's been other requests for additional information on this screen, so I'm guessing we'll be trying to incorporate a number of those requests when we do decide to update this screen..

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    I can understand how having this information on the Organization Summary page would be helpful for you. While it's not a big effort, I'd really like to hear from other users before we look at doing this, if at all possible. I'm assuming a label of "Denied (LOI)" or "Denied (Application)" would be sufficient?

    In the meantime, I'll run this by our Product Team to see if anyone can think of a reason to not do this.
