Evaluators viewing uploaded documents

It would be very helpful and time saving if the administrator can select the option for the evaluators to view uploaded documents for an application.

In our evaluation process we would like our evaluators to evaluate the application only. I have to wait until the evaluation process is complete to upload important documents to the applicants file so that their identity will not be revealed to the evaluator. It is a big job to do after the evaluation process and would be more efficient to do this during the process as we use this like a filing system. I hope I explained that in a way that could be understood.:)

    Hi all,

    I'm sorry - I missed updating this when we did the 5.0 release. With that release, we added the ability to make fields "Applicant Only" (among other things). The "Applicant Only" setting means that only applicants and administrators can see the response to a particular question - and this includes file uploads.

    Please confirm that this will work for you, and I'll go ahead and move this Idea to "Implemented". And if it doesn't work, please explain why - thanks!

    We don't use the evaluation system because our panels only review about 1/4 of the info the applicant submits, so we use merge templates instead. It would be nice to have the option to hide documents from evaluators (all docs uploaded to a certain form question, for example).

    Hi Eva,

    At this point, this suggestion has not become a higher priority. I'm assuming that when you say "uploaded documents", you are referring to both the documents uploaded by an applicant (in response to an a form question) as well as supporting documents (uploaded by an administrator) ... correct?

    If you could let me know, we could look at queuing this up for more in-depth consideration. That's not to say we will be doing it in the short-term, but we could investigate it more.

    Hi there!

    Just wondering if this idea has been considered yet? I'm bringing this up because now the great feature of making documents viewable to applicants has been added! It would still really be great if uploaded documents could have the option of being hidden from evaluators.

    At this time, we do not have any documents that we would want to show as they would identify the applicant.

    This is an interesting thought. I remember our discussions about this and it does make sense. Are there ever documents you do want to show and some you don't?
