retain search list
It would save several clicks if the search was retained, and could be accessed by clicking the back arrow after selecting an item from the search. It would be even better if you place in the list was retained and you were automatically returned to that position.

Sammie,
I would think this would definitely help, though hitting the back button or back keyboard shortcut seems more intuitive to me than clicking a breadcrumb. Thanks!

Would LOVE to be able to go back to the most recent search results. I'm not sure what form a bread crumb takes (is it just a back button?), but anything that makes it so the search results remain accessible would be great!

Would love to see this. If it's not possible for some back-end reason, perhaps we could at least set the default to open any links on the search page in a new tab, so the original search results aren't lost if you click into a result from the search results page. Since there are other places that seem to default to opening a link in a new tab (evaluations always seem to leave me with 27 tabs open, somehow...), it seems like this would be a fairly easy option to implement?

YES, PLEASE!! It is quite annoying to, say, run a search for all approved grants in a particular time period, get the results, click on one org, then hit the back button and have to run the search all over again from the beginning. We just brought in our legacy data and need to de-duplicate organizations, and need to click between records to identify the primary org before we merge.
