Batch Print
I would love an option to batch print every application in each process. Currently I need to go in to each application and open the PDF to print. Would be nice to be able to select all and print.
Hi All,
As of today, May 4th 2022, we released our first version of batch print/download
There are two ways to use this functionality:
1. From applicant facing forms work load pages (LOI, Applications, and Follow Ups) you will now have the option to Batch Print the print packet.
2. From request & decisions you can now create PDFs of the documents in a single large doc or into a zipped file.
To learn more about this functionality go to support hub and search "Print" or "Download"
If you have additional thoughts on how to improve this functionality please create a new idea lab item or reach out to me directly.
Best
Sammie

Also - batch download of PDFs!

It would be great if there was an option to batch download the LOI/Application/Evaluation summary packets. Especially after closing the evaluation process, having to drill into each LOI/application, separate evaluator, and then saving each individual packet is quite time consuming.

Batch printing would be very helpful so we don't have to open each application to pull the file uploads.

Hi all,
As we have improved a lot of the base GLM functionality, more folks are asking for a variety of batch-type work flows (batch approval, batch payments, and batch print packets). All of these things are still on our roadmap, but we have some things we need to complete before we can start looking at these in more depth. Primarily, we need to take some steps to modernize our user interface. Being able to take advantage of new user interface code libraries, having more screen real estate, etc., will help us to be able to more effectively support increasingly complex functionality.I don't have a time-line for the topic of this thread (a print packet for a whole process), but it won't be until we have done some of the user interface work we've planned for the first half or so of 2016. That said, we will be looking at what this feature will require and thinking about how exactly we can implement it. On one hand, it's not an overly challenging technical feature, but on the other hand, it is a fairly demanding feature in terms of how it uses our server resources. Therefore, we need to make sure that we implement it in a manner that won't negatively impact server performance for all users.
Thanks for the feedback - I definitely can understand how this functionality would help, and I look forward to us being able to address it.

I know this is an old thread, but I'd love a Batch Print option. And/or at least a way to print all of the steps of a particular applicant's process (LOI, application, evaluations, etc.) as one PDF. As the initial commenter said, we often have board meetings without internet access, so I distribute PDFs of materials in advance of the meeting. Right now I spend a lot of time manually printing each PDF and then merging relevant PDFs for each applicant into one document to make the files easier for the board to browse as they prep and discuss in each meeting.

Batch Print Packets has been added to our medium range product planning. This means that it is currently prioritized for an upcoming release but it has not be officially slottted into a specific release. I would expect this to be available sometime in the first half of 2013 providing we do not have issues or features which require immediate attention. This feature in particular is one that is very popular internally due to the impact we know it would have on our customers who are still creating board books (both electronic and paper).
We will keep you updated once this is officially planned for a specific release.

I would like to add to this - a Batch Print option would be very helpful for us as well (for ex batch printing all LOIs in a process). If there are any developments on this, I'd love to know! Thanks.

Emily,
Batch functions to reduce workload and keystrokes has been a recent initiative. Batch Deny and Batch Close have already to be added to Foundant GLM. Batch Print would need to be implemented in a similar way. Whether they could be combined into a single document or if they would need to be saved as independent files is something that would be determined by the technology we use to build print packets.
We will add this to the list of possible batch options and will post new information as we begin to consider moving this to the development queue.
Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions on how to make Foundant GLM better.
Best,
Mark

Ocassionally, we have meetings in places without internet access. Instead of printing each application, we save them individually- one by one- as Print packets directly to our computers to access them during the meeting. Is there anyway to save the packets as ONE PDF in a simple step, instead of all the back and forth of opening hte application, printing the packet and saving it to the computer? It is very time consuming when there are multple applications.
