Highlight questions with different colors
It would be nice to be able to add different colors to questions. For example, highlighting all internal questions in yellow so we could quickly scroll through the application and see what sections we needed to fill out. Or, it would be nice to be able to highlight specific questions in the application that we wanted other reviewers to look at if there were issues or particularly interesting content. It would be like using colored sticky tabs on a paper application.

Initially, I was thinking about this feature being an internal facing feature, but it could be great to have it available for the applicant to view as well.
It would be amazing to have both functions available that are listed above.

I would like to be able to color code questions that have Admin comments visible to the applicant. They are not as easy for the applicant to spot as they could be. Otherwise, I can't think of reasons to make color-coding visible to the applicant.
I like the idea of having internal/admin questions color-coded. Also, having a specific color that could be used for high-priority fields that are referenced often would be useful.
I agree that admins would probably like to have both of the use cases you mentioned, but for me, the bigger priority would be the first one.

I currently color code questions in our forms so it's easy to spot which ones are internal. Additionally, I will sometimes segregate all internal questions in a separate group, if it makes sense for the form. Being able to set highlighting based on what the Visibility has been set to for a question would make this much quicker and more straightforward, as well as ensure consistency. The request seems to be not just about form design, but also about specific records (specific completed forms), so that questions on a particular applicant's form can be highlighted as a form is reviewed so that it can be easily spotted as something that needs attention or revisiting. So, two different functionalities. Both would be useful to me. I would want the ability to designate whether the highlight should be made visible to the applicant or not - it could be handy when communicating an issue to an applicant, but could also be something that you don't want the applicant to be alerted to - something for internal consideration only.

All of these options sound great! It would be nice to be able to color code questions for applicants, but also internally as well for my own reference. I think both the use cases you mention would be applicable.
Essentially, it sounds like we want the ability to be able to color code questions, and then have it be applicant or internal facing depending on the situation.
I've attached a quick mock up of what that could maybe look like, if it helps!
