Assign follow-ups and notify grantees later
Could there be a way to assign follow-ups to grantees and notify them at a later date? Right now, when assigning follow-ups, the grantee is notified on their dashboard right away that they have a follow-up and therefore they will know that they have a grant. I would like to assign follow-ups during our Foundation's approval process time in November; however, the grantees are not notified of their grant until December with an award letter and payment then. Therefore, the surprise of being awarded a grant would be ruined if the grantees received notification of a follow-up prior to their award letter/payment. I would like to assign follow-ups for our grantees with a postponed notification date.

For those working with GLM and C-suite, this is a needed feature. We must approve in GLM in order to push the request into C-suite, where it obtains final approval. Our options are 1) assign a follow-up on approval and notify the applicant before final approval, 2) assign a follow-up but do not notify the grantee (we will later need to send a manual email), or 3) do not assign a follow-up but then go back and manually assign it once final approval is obtained. All three ways lead to their own challenges.

Great suggestion! I've had to just hold off approving in Foundant to not ruin the surprise of receiving their "Congratulations" letter.

I agree with this recommendation. When a grant is "approved" we can delay when they will see the updated status in their application , however when we assign a follow up they immediately are able to see the award decision.
