Add more than one donation advisor
It would be great if we could add more than one advisor on a donation record. This is especially helpful when a couple divorces so both of them can be advisors on a household donation to keep their total giving to the organization accurate.

Being this is being archived, please advise as to what the alternative is when having multiple advisors for one donation.

I agree with the comment below - we do receive checks from org's that the soft credit would not be one to one, but one to multiple donors that would receive the soft credit.

I agree. Our previous provider allowed us to credit more than one advisor and split soft credits. Extremely helpful in instances as Alicia mentioned and also where multiple people are responsible for securing a contribution (e.g., a request their employer or corporate foundation or DAF). Most importantly, we often receive donations from entities that send us a single check consisting of the aggregate of several gifts (e.g., an employee giving campaign). Some entities receipt the employee's individual contributions directly with us merely sending thank-you notes. Others expect us to receipt the donations. When the employees' gifts have already been acknowledged by the entity who sends us the check, we need to be able to soft credit several people with their portion of the respective donation amount.
