Hate Groups, Extremist Groups
It would be very helpful to have Foundant flag groups deemed as hate groups, and/or extremist groups by using some type of source to notify users that this organization has been flagged when trying to create a grantee profile with a particular EIN, or doing the charity check in GuideStar.

This is a critical need for the Greater Milwaukee Foundation but what we are asking differs from what has been stated. What GMF is looking for is the ability for us, GMF, to flag an organization that would prevent a grant from being entered - for whatever reason GMF deems appropriate. We are not asking Foundant to define hate or identify what is a hate group. We want the ability to prevent a grant from being entered/paid that should not be paid because we, GMF, has determined a grant should not be made. We want the ability to enter/maintain a profile for the organization but have an alert status code that prevents a grant from being entered and paid. The organization’s status could change in the future, in which case we would change the status code.

I would not want Foundant being the arbiter of what defines a 'hate group' and marking orgs based on whatever criteria they decided upon. If an individual CF wants to do this based on their individual criteria, it could be a custom field.
