Bulk Profile Updates and Note Additions
Similar to a bulk profile import, there should be a function to mass update features of profiles that all need the same update. For example, we recently pulled our 'unsubscribe' list from MailChimp after a universal email campaign and found that 406 people would like to unsubscribe. Currently, this needs to be done manually...going into each profile to select "do not email" and then adding a note as to why we are marking them this way. It would be fantastic to have an option to upload a CSV with a 'command' to mark profiles from the unsubscribe report with an action of either 'do not email', 'do not mail' or 'do not call' when these large groupings of edits are needed. An option to bulk update was released on 5/29/2024: Here is the release note:
Profiles: Enhanced the Profiles Bulk Update Names report to allow for updating Do Not Mail, Do Not Email, Do No Call, and the No Status Charity Check. No Status Charity check will only apply to Grantee profiles. Relabeled the FED(EIN/SSN) column to FED(EIN).
