  1. Fund Advisor Portal: Ability to sort the Fund Statements

    Currently, we cannot sort the order in which the fund statements appear on the individual fund screen or on the Donor Portal. As a result, the fund statements often do not list in date order. This makes it hard to find the latest statement. It would be great if the Fund Statements could be sorted to show the newest fund statement at the top.

  2. Fund Statement processing - (want counts back on main screen) and need ability to choose two criteria when selecting funds

    We had used the counts to verify that we were getting the number of statements needed, now you can't see this until you are done with everything and have to open each batch to see counts. Not effective when you have another person doing the approvals.

    We have multiple investment portfolios and with the change to fund statement processing it has been changed to one criteria selection. We like to keep the portfolio's separate to check that the investment return is posting accurately.   3. Fund Statements need to add up

    Fund statements currently do not have to add up. They only include g/l accounts that you have selected to include in the templates. We had a transfer that didn't go through the P&L and therefore the fund statement didn't add up and we didn't get an error message. It's not possible to recalculate every single fund statement so there really needs to be an error message if the statement doesn't total up correctly.

  4. fund statements

    We recently migrated to CSuite and ran our first quarterly fund statements. We discovered that fund statements for any new funds we set up after the first day in that quarter did not auto-generate. Foundant confirmed that fact. So, if we set up a new fund on Apr 15 and ran fund statements for the Apr-Jun quarter, it did not auto-generate a statement. We had to identify those new funds and manually generate individual fund statements. Can this be corrected?

    Can you make it possible to send an email to all fund advisors when fund statements are published letting them know they have a statement to review?

  6. consolidated fund statement or portal information for affiliate organizations

    Ability to create consolidated fund statements for affiliate organizations or agencies with many funds. Or show totals of contributions and grants on the portal as well as the fund balance for all funds in the affiliate org. We have fund advisors that have a dozen or more funds, usually education foundations, that want to see totals each quarter of the details in all the funds. Not just fund balances.

    Although you can't combine fund statements in the portal, the financial tab can be enabled which would allow the consolidation of all the affiliate funds in one report.  The other thought would be to have a master education fund with the named funds as sub-funds.  That would combine all the activity for the parent fund.

  7. fund statement list should include the Fund Group it includes

    We run our statements in batches. When the batch post, in addition to listing the ID, Description, Start -end date, Published date - it would be helpful if it also listed the group and/or detail.

    If we need to resend or reprint, having this information would make it easier to find the statement

  8. Scholarships display differently on fund statements if "post by payment" is selected

    Some of our scholarships have several years of renewals with different conditions so we opted to use the post by payment feature for these scholarships. However, these post by payment scholarships display differently on the fund statements. Our fund holders don't need to question why an entry is different just because the way it posts in our system. Attached is how the scholarship reporting looks on the fund statements when on scholarship is marked post by payment and one that is not. Is there a reason why the post by payment is displayed this way?

  9. Profile Legal Name on Fund Statements

    We list distribution history on fund statements. This lists the vendor name (ie: Example Public School Foundation). However, our profile names for nonprofits often include abbreviations to make it easier for us to find the profile (ie: Example Public School Foundation / EPSF). It would be nice if the legal name, NOT the profile name, could appear on fund statement distribution summaries.

  10. The Ability to Separate Detail Activity for a Fund Statement

    I would like to the ability to pull specific information from Detail Activity for Fund Statements. Example: Detail Activity will pull the specific Dividend Income, Realized Gain/Loss, Unrealized Gain/Loss, Grant Expense, Grant Expense - Interfund, Investment Management Fees, Administrative Fees and Credit Card Fee information. The only section that would be needed is the Credit Card Fees.

    Enable the option to suppress statement vouchers from being listed in the detail voucher section. For Foundations, this will be helpful for those funds that have their own investment strategy and are not held within an investment pool

    It would be so helpful if distributions could be sorted by date on the statements instead of amount or name

  14. Message/warning needed if grant recommendation is stuck at review stage.

    In the Fund Advisor Portal, if there is a setting that prevents a grant recommendation from being permissible (for example, if a Foundation's settings say a grant must be at least $100 and a Fund Advisor is trying to make a grant for $75) then the system just loops back every time the Advisor hits the review button and doesn't let them continue. It's good that it blocks an ineligible request. But, is there a way that the system can also give the Advisor a warning that clues them in to why it's not letting them review and submit their…

  15. fund statement Advisor Name

    On fund statement templates, be able to pull the fund advisor name and company in a normal usage AND SALUTATION.
    For example templates currently pull info like this:

    Doe, John
    123 Main Street
    Anytown, OH 43003

    Dear Doe, John:
    (no company, backwards name, and no salutaion)

    It would be reasonable to expect:
    John Doe
    The Doe Company
    123 Main Street
    Anytown, OH 43003

    Dear John:

    I have been able to get the name in correct order by putting it in the mailing label but it doesn't pull the company name unless I put it in the address section, which of…
