The current thinking is that we will have a master grant with sub grants. The master grant will show payment info from all sub grants but payment info will not be editable. It will have an advanced grant letter template so it can show all the funds in the total award for a grant letter (like a check), but will not support the simple grant letter template as it will not have a fund.
Each sub grant will be the contribution for just that fund. It could have a grant letter from the fund (if desired) and would handle the payment schedule for the fund.
Refunds/Cancel would be handled from either level. If done at the master, it will allocate based on the total contribution of each fund to the grant (so if one fund was giving 5K to a 10K grant, it would get 50% of any refund) or a refund could be handled at the sub grant to control exactly what goes back into a particular fund.
The GLM integration is still under consideration and is where we’re actively focusing on design currently, so not sure how that will work yet.
I expect work to begin late 2nd quarter on this and should release somewhere in 3rd quarter. Does this meet what you are after?
