Change the text on the prompt for the credit card fee

Please change the prompt from
"Do you want to add 3.0% to cover our processing fee?" to
"Do you want to add 3.0% to cover the credit card company's processing fee?"
Many donors have a negative reaction to the charity charging a fee. Using the word "our" sounds like we are charging the donor to make a gift. On the other hand, everyone knows that the credit card company (aka the bad guy ;) ) charges a fee.

    As already said, prefer the language to be "Please consider adding 3% to your donation to cover the credit card processing fees."

    I would prefer the language to be something along the lines of "Please consider adding 3% to your donation to cover our vendor's credit card processing fees.

    I would prefer the language to be "Please consider adding 3% to your donation to cover the credit card processing fees." I don't want it to sound like it is our fees we are imposing, but the fees of the credit card (external to the foundation). We work hard at providing informative but a more polite message. Thank you for your consideration!

    A softer touch would be appreciated. An example could be;

    Please consider an additional 3% to cover our processing fee.

    Our text currently says, "Add 3%...", which has caused complaints from several donors who think it sounds too pushy. It would be great if the text could change to something more polite, e.g. "Please consider adding 3% to your donation to cover the credit card company's processing fee." Thanks for considering this!

    We have had several donor complaints on the sentence next to the option to add an additional donation to cover processing fees. They felt that it was pushy and not an option to decline.
    What if it was worded as: Please consider adding 3% to your donation to cover our processing fees.

    Agreed! The current wording is very pushy. It should read "Please consider adding 3% to your donation to cover our processing fees."

    I came here to submit this VERY idea! Sad to see it was from 2019. Hope we can get more votes and have it implemented! We have had similar negative feedback from donors and fundholders regarding the language.
