Change Grantee in Grant Request to internal fund

After a grant request has come over from the portal and is in the new bucket, we have the option to change the grantee. However, this only allows us to select a grantee profile and does not include any of our internal foundation funds. It would be nice if there was also the option to change the grantee to a foundation fund and process as an internal grant. Thanks for considering!

    We have had this issue and it takes additional work to get these grants issued for the donors.

    Excellent idea.. Or to go the other way . Flip internal grants to external .

    What about grants that come from GLM that are for Fiscal Sponsorship we hold. I have to fix those too.

    The smoother the recommendation process is for the advisors the better.

    I just had to do this and it would be so much easier to have some kind of internal switch.

    Currently, when a fund advisor requests a grant through the portal, if the grant is an interfund, we have to void their request and re-enter it causing confusion to the fund advisor.

    It would be great to have the ability to internally switch it to interfund on the back end to keep the integrity of the fund advisor's request intact.

    Maybe this is where having a profile for each fund would be helpful?

    Agreed - we presently have a work around, but it would be nice to keep the same process for all.

    Right now, if we have a situation where the fund advisor chooses the organization name as grantee rather than choosing a fund, we have to void the fund advisor's request and start over. So they no longer see their request in the portal. Adding this functionality would provide better information to the fund advisor and would provide better tracking of what happened from the initial request through the final grant. Thanks!
