Donor Selects Prefix During Checkout
Our foundation uses prefixes in our communication with donors. For profiles generated automatically through online donations, we either don't have prefixes or have to make assumptions and manually enter them. It would be great if there was an option for donors to select or enter their prefix of choice during the checkout process. This should also apply to the name of anyone to be notified of a tribute donation entered at checkout. This would ensure the profile generated has the correct prefix for them while also cutting down on profiles in our system without prefixes or with incorrect and/or manually entered prefixes. The prefix list should be editable so each foundation can determine which to use. Thanks for considering!

The missing prefix but the existing SUFFIX causes confusion in our donor's name preference. Please add the ability for a donor to add their prefix if they wish.

Please consider this is you all are looking at the donation page. We don't want to assume someone's prefix and gender but at the same time we would like to be able to address our donors respectfully. The ability for someone to add their prefix during the donation process would really be helpful to our donor communication!

Was just told by support this wasn't an option but to suggest here - thank you for already doing so. I would like to add that if the required field asterisks be moved from 'name' (not a fillable field) to the two required name fields of first and last name (it seems suffix and middle name are not required). Hoping this will be implemented as we have donors entering prefix information into the suffix box.

add 'prefix' field to the check out information on the online donations portal. This will assist in the accuracy of matching with existing profiles and also give additional information that we can store in new profiles.
