Recurring Grant: Calendar End Date Option
When entering a recurring grant through fund manager or directly through Csuite, there is currently no option to specifically enter a calendar end date. There is the option to choose the "number of recurring" or "max recurrence," but there is no option to choose an actual calendar year end date for the recurring grant. For example, if I want to end quarterly gifts on 1/5/2028 that began on 10/5/2021, instead of putting the end date as "1/5/2028" I actually have to count the recurrence as 26 and put in that specific number. The ability to put in a particular number of recurrences is useful in some situations, but awkward in other situations. It would be very helpful to have the option to name a specific calendar year end date (i.e. 10/5/2028) along with the option to enter a certain number of recurrences.

Ok, maybe a crazy idea... but when they enter the recurrence interval and number of recurring, can you show them the months or years that the grants would be paid out? That would provide them a clear understanding of the grant payment schedule.

While you are working in this area, it would be extremely helpful to have a content block available so that we can provide more instructions on what they should be doing. For example, is the first grant counted in the number of recurring?

On the portal, perhaps an option might be to display the "calculated" last grant date after the fund advisor chooses an interval and enters the number of recurring. That way, they know when the grants will end. If they do not like the date, they can adjust the interval or number of grants to get to the end date they want.

I think it would be great if fund advisors could add an end date for recurring grants. Without this option, the advisor is left to calculate the number of occurrences which can be a task. Currently this requires a manual calculation when a future month end-date is desired. This also makes room for error and makes it difficult to revisit and quickly determine exactly when a grant will end.

Also add End Date to the field options so we can pull that date in reports.
