investment performance
It would be very helpful if there was more information on the investment report in Financials. When you go to the Financials page, select Investments, and enter the time period, the only information available is the amounts going in and out (income, realized, unrealized, gifts, payments, etc.). This can all be found in other areas - the fund activity, Revenue Share, the bank statements, etc. It would be very helpful if this also included percentages to show the investment account performance or some other way to determine how the investment account performed of the selected time period. As of now, there is nowhere in the system to get a good idea of what that looks like. We can request that information from the investment manager but it would be nice to be able to compare that to what we show in the system.

Information from the Investment manager is only going to give the whole picture that includes all funds, we would like to see the rate of return by fund.

Agreed!! It would be nice if there was a way to pull an investment report that shows time weighted rate of return instead of dollar weight of return. The TWRR measure is very important in comparing the returns of investment in an account because it eliminates the distorting effects on growth rates created by inflows and outflows of money.
Thanks!

TThis would be very helpful when trying to split contributions into separate funds. There really isn't a good way to calculate the updated value in csuite.
The performance calculation must take into account that additions and distributions should be treated differently than actual investment activity when calculating the returns.
