Link payments to opportunity
Please create a way to link payments to opportunities. Currently, you can only link donations.
Problem: we invoiced a county for their grant commitment per their request and to show on our books when the grant contract was signed. Unfortunately, I cannot (yet) link the payment to the opportunity so that tracking works (committed amount/balance remaining).

Oshkosh Area CF would really benefit from the ability to link invoices to open opportunities as well. They receive high dollar non-gift payments and are unable to close the opportunity due to the inability to link the invoice payment to the opp.

We have a sponsorship opportunity that has a donation and ticket fee. It would be nice to link the ticket payment to the opportunity. Now the balance in the opportunity still shows the ticket fee which was paid.

Hi,
It is so critical to this issue. Our fundraising team questioned why there is still a balance for the sponsorship opportunity but it has already been paid.
