Add CC Function to Tax Receipts
It would be nice to have the ability to CC a third party (not the donor or donation advisor) on tax receipts created from donations. When we used FIMS, our organization used the CC function to send letters to beneficiary organizations when a donation was made to an endowment fund that benefited them. The CC field in FIMS pulled in the CC'd profile's name, address, etc. so that we could create a personalized CC letter in our acknowledgement templates. We have yet to figure out an adequate way to replicate this notification process in CSuite (Donation Notify through the fund advisor portal does not fulfill this function as we do not assign organizations as fund advisors to donor-designated endowment funds). Adding a CC field to the donation record with associated enhancements to the tax receipt template (e.g. ability to bring in name and address of CC profile) would allow us more flexibility in our acknowledgement communications.
