  1. For us the Created date for a fund is the date the fund agreement was signed which is never the same day we are creating the fund in Csuite. This field used to just be a date field and then turned into a date stamp. Now after we create the fund in Csuite we always have to edit the date stamp to be the date the fund agreement was signed. And being a date stamp, we have to be sure to only edit the date and leave the time in the field or the system won't accept it. This field…

  3. We want to have a stewardship program based on Fund Milestone Anniversaries - 1rst, 5th, 10th, 15th etc.. Currently the only way to manage is to use an excel spreadsheet to track the upcoming dates. If there was a function that permit this within CSuite, that could be reported on, that'd be great! Ideally, we could report on any fund that has a milestone anniversary year in any given year.

  4. A way to restrict users' access to internal funds, either through permissions or other means. We have sensitive operating funds related to compensation that we wish to restrict access to.

  5. When a user is on a Fund and selects History, it will list Total Grants with a dollar amount. We discovered that this total will include unposted grants and clicking the link for the backup list of grants does not include unposted grants. This is confusing and needs to be fixed.

    We'd rather Total Grants under Fund History did not include unposted grants in the total. Or if unposted grants are part of the total, at least include them in the linked report.

  6. We would love to have a way that C Suite could prevent duplicate short names from being created or provide a warning that there is another fund with the same short name. We use short names in lots of financial reports and having a way to prevent a duplicate would reduce human error. Thanks for considering.

  7. I would like to be able to adjust the sort order of Funds.

    For example, I would like a fund entitled The University Fund to appear under U instead of under T. Or John and Jane Doe Donor Advised Fund to appear under D instead of J.

    The report that I use most often that I would like sorted this way is the Fund Balance Report in Financials. I cannot figure out a work around to make this happen.

  8. Changing the way the funds are presented in the Fund section in CSuite so that chronological is an option, instead of only alphabetical, would be helpful. I'd like to find my new funds faster.

  9. I would like a hard stop or a warning message when a user is going to take an action that is going to result in the fund spendable balance exceeding the total fund balance. We have seen this occur when an manual distribution is made to the spendable beyond the total fund balance and also from transfers out of the fund balance that did not hit the spendable balance. Since the spendable number is the most important when it comes to our grant budgeting, we never want a case where the spendable is showing higher than it actually is or…

  10. We closed a fund and wanted to add a note, but closed funds apparently can't appear in the "Fund (Optional)" field on the Add Note screen.

  11. If you don't work with grants to know there are some in the system to be paid and you look at a fund that has pending grants, it can look like something is wrong on the fund. The fund balance has been reduced by the pending grants but the assets have not been reduced. This makes sense but for development people who aren't aware of grants, it can get confusing. Could there be some sort of flag on the balance that grants are pending or something?

  12. Please make it possible to import stewards to the respective funds. The bulk edit function that is available would be quite time consuming as we have 1000+ stewards to link to funds. Thx

  13. We have several fund groups that have the same beneficiary and we have to add them individually. It would save a lot of time if we could bulk edit the fund group to add beneficiaries.

  14. When reviewing files in a fund, it would be nice to bulk checkmark attachments as Yes to Share. Currently, it is only done one by one and it takes you to a different screen after marking Yes to share for every file.

  15. For audit purposes, it would be helpful to be able to change a fund group type at a point in time instead of changing all of history. We have memorial funds that come in as "Unrestricted" but turn into restricted scholarship funds (or others). When we change the fund group it changes the data for all of time which makes our ending balances for PY not match beginning balances in terms of audit categories.

    Right now we are closing the memorial funds completely and opening a new scholarship fund but this has us lose the donor/donation history for the fund.
