  2. When a donor with an existing profile makes an online donation, the receipt is sent to the donor's primary email on file rather than the one provided at checkout. Hoping this change can be prioritized as it could be problematic for many reasons.

  3. We just sent our first bulk batch of transfer requests using the functionality in CSuite and were so excited! Previously, this was so tedious and having this "new" option was so optimistic!

    Could we please have the ability to pull the transfer "description" into the transfer letter? We request both grants and fees and have one template for this, however, there is no way for the advisor to know what we are requesting whether it be a grant reimbursement or admin fees without this description line pulling.

  4. IRA Gift Tax Receipt Letters - Salutation & Envelopes

    When processing IRAs or charitable bank gifts, while we can now get the address on the tax receipt letter to populate as the Donor Advisor instead of the "donor"/Bank - I am still having issues with the salutation being the Banks/"donors" name and not the Donor Advisor, even when I populate this field to "John Smith".
    Then, when I print envelopes, no matter what I do, the envelope will print with only the Bank/"donors" address. I have to go in separately and print an envelope from each personal profile since I…

  6. Add Contact First and Last Name as field options for year end tax receipt templates. It would be nice to add the name of an organization's primary contact (which we add to org's first and last name, plus first name in the Salutation) so when sending tax receipt letters for our annual giving day, we don't have to edit the PDF to include the names (I've already voted that these export to Word files). Thank you!

  7. In Tax Receipt Template Logic, currently "Payment Type" is assigned the most points. It would make more sense that a the Fund assigned to the template get the most points. Funds often have nuances that need to be addressed in the tax receipt, and the current value system does not easily or simply allow for that.

  8. The grant card template (giving card acknowledgement/receipt, not tax receipt) is available as a template and can be sent manually from the donor's grant card page, but the process is unable to be automated.

    Donors should receive a letter letting them know how their grant card was spent. There is no reason this shouldn't be automated just like every other template. And if they aren't going to be automated, they need to at least show a timestamp after one is manually sent so that it is clear that a letter has been sent.

  10. For yearly tax receipts, allow the fund Public Name to be an available template merge field. Given that the receipt is a public facing document, the fund public name should be able to be used rather than the internal name which may include internal language.

  11. We have many separately invested funds where the profile/donor and financial advisor are the same. One GL account may contain multiple funds to invest the balance in one account vs one account per fund.

    It would be extremely beneficial to have the template for Fund Advisor Transfer Letters contain an option for the total by financial advisor instead of by fund. The financial advisors may not be aware that there are multiple funds invested in the single donor account. This is currently causing confusion and making the templates less useful then they could be.

Could you allow a different credit card tax receipt template for an individual fund, which is hosting an event and thus needs a template that says only a certain portion of their donation is considered tax deductible? Or, alternatively, allow us to turn off the automated credit card tax receipt for that particular fund? Right now it is an all the same or nothing option for credit card tax receipts.

  13. The bulk year-end print results process in a random order and there isn't a way to print envelopes in that same random order. Solution suggested by chat was to print envelopes in alpha order and then find them, since they'll at least be easier to find in alpha order, to compile the mailing. Please fix this!

  14. Alert: Online Donation Receipts Merge INCORRECT DONOR INFO

    If a donor with an existing CSuite profile enters new contact information while making an online gift, CSuite will port that information into their profile before emailing a tax receipt. However, the tax receipt is merged using the primary contact information, NOT the new info the donor has just shared. This is true for both the mailing address and the email address.

  15. Guest information fields should be available to the the event ticket receipt template. This is especially important when offering multi-unit tickets so that ticket holders can have record of which guests were included in the ticket.

  16. "Microsoft Word 97 - 2003" file format is not compatible with Microsoft SharePoint. In this file format, you can’t use the “autosave” function, and multiple people are not able to collaborate in the document concurrently. Updating format to "Microsoft Word Document" will likely improve user workflows.

  17. It would be great if the Grantee Name (DBA name) and the Legal Name would pull in on receipts to donors. Many non-profits "do business as" one name, while their legal name is technically different. When a donor makes a grant to the DBA Org Name on the donor portal and then gets an email receipt with the legal name of the organization, it can be confusing and seem like they granted to the wrong organization.
