  2. Please move the Review Grant Request link to just below the Grant Request Cart so fund advisors readily see this link.

  3. Show closed funds, with an indicator, on the Fund Advisor Portal so fund holders can continue to see the funds history. We have had this request from a few of our fund holders.

  4. Provide the option to change the name of the button in event registration from ticket to something else in order to customize for organizations. Example we do not use the language of ticket but reservation since we do not physically provide tickets for an event.

  5. We've had several fundholders reach out and ask to see a summary of their total grantmaking for the calendar year at the top of the portal screen. This would be a summary amount similar to current balance and amount available for grantmaking that would be easily viewable on the fund summary page.

  6. Concept Overview: A third portal type (or a distinct configuration mode) that mirrors the affiliate portal's grouping functionality but is purpose-built for the financial advisor relationship.

    Key Features: Fund Grouping
The financial advisor should be able to organize their clients' funds into logical groupings — by household, family name, client tier, or advisory team. This mirrors the affiliate portal's grouping capability without co-opting the affiliate record type.

Separate Record Type: Rather than using the Affiliate record, CommunitySuite would introduce a Financial Advisor record (or profile type) in the CRM/contact layer. This keeps the data model clean:

    1. Affiliates = supporting organizations…

  7. When you look at the Grants within the portal, the grantee column shows the name of the fund to which an internal grant was made. When you export this same data the csv file shows the grantee name as the name of your foundation, which is causing confusion for advisors who are comparing the two. Is it possible to have the grantee be the fund name in the export as well? It would be also be great to be able to customize the fields that are included in the export beyond the default selections.

  8. Allow the option to require two-factor authentication for Fund Advisors in the portal. Currently we can only advise they enable this feature but would like the toggle option to require it as an added security measure.

  9. Currently, if a user logs in to their donor portal, they are able to see donations that are in the "new" bucket - AKA donations that are not yet posted and may contain inaccuracies.

This has caused confusion for a couple of our donors, particularly those that are also fund advisors and contribute to their fund via check. If we've just entered the check donation but it has not yet been posted, the fund advisor could log-in, see a low balance on their fund advisor portal, but then go to their donor portal and see the "pending" donation, though it…

  10. We noticed on the Legacy Portal that the Fund Steward email address is a hyperlink but on the Fund Advisor portal, it is not. Was wondering if that is something you can enable?

  11. In the new portal, if a fund is marked private (like we do for agency funds that only accept contributions from the agency itself, not the public) it is currently showing up as an option to donate to when she goes to the Giving Hub via her donor advised fund dashboard.

Example: Jane Doe is a fund advisor on both her family donor advised fund and she's a fund advisor to the Pawsome Animal Clinic agency fund, for which she serves as a volunteer treasurer. Even though “Donate” is not checked in her advisor access options for the Clinic's agency…

  12. On the Files tab for Affiliates, the default sort order currently displays the oldest uploaded files first, which is inconsistent with other areas of the portal. To improve usability, newly uploaded documents should appear at the top by default.

While users can manually adjust the sort order using the arrows, setting the most recent files to display first would save time and create a more seamless experience.

If you agree, please vote to prioritize this fix!

  13. Could you all add more customization options for colors? I've been able to edit a lot using CSS, but I know that isn't an option for most people. Here are colors that I've manually modified or am working on finding the code to modify to match our branding:

    • Underscore on the current tab in the top menu (Giving Hub and Portal) that lists profile/funds/logout (portal) or funds/campaigns/grant catalog (giving hub)
    • Background color behind login form
    • Selection color for dropdown/fund changer in fund portal (and background color - if you set the background to anything other than white, it affects the…

  14. Foundations increasingly want to understand the full donor journey. From public website or email campaigns into CSuite, through the donor portal or Giving Hub, and ultimately to completed actions such as gifts or grant recommendations.

While Google Analytics can currently be applied to Giving Hub pages, there is no way to track end-to-end donor behavior across CSuite, particularly once a user enters the donor portal or navigates authenticated areas of the system.

    What’s Missing Today

Current Google Analytics support allows for:
-Page and event tracking on Giving Hub pages
-Donation-related event data via Measurement Protocol

    However, it does not allow…

  15. It would be helpful to allow multiple types of entries in the donor portal when a fundholder is requesting a grant. For example, if a fundholder types "$25,000" including a dollar sign and a comma, an error sign comes up ("must be a decimal number".) The fundholder needs to type in 25000 for the grant to go through. Allowing $25,000 would help reduce frustration.

According to the idea I posted previously, this idea was implemented: https://idealab.foundant.com/forums/597718-communitysuite-idea-lab/suggestions/48126044-fix-must-be-a-decimal-number-error. However, the issue is still occurring and when I spoke with the customer service team, they said that the idea hadn't actually been…

  16. Currently, if an internal donation/grant is made the fund name is listed as the contributor on the gift summary in the fund portal but the Community Foundation contact information is listed on the Contributor Summary. Is there a way to list the grant/donation advisor contact information if one has been entered.

  17. When you click on "Donate" from the Fund Advisor Portal left navigation, can the Giving Hub be opened in a new browser tab so the Fund Advisor can more easily get back to the Fund Advisor Portal?

We have disabled the Login button on the Giving Hub in order to reduce confusion for our donors who are not fund holders (we have not opened our portal for donors). So we are trying to figure out how to help our fund advisors get back to the portal. Of course, we can direct them to open a new tab or remind them…

  18. Sometimes fund advisors choose to make grants anonymous on a grant by grant basis, but may not remember which ones or want to see which ones they did. If that could be a visible field on the portal - if a grant was anonymous, and allow fund advisors to filter for those that would be a helpful feature. Currently they have to request that information from us.

  19. We'd like to recommend a couple of additional customization options for the online portal:

1). It would be great if we could customize the text of the Grant Request "Description" box (specifically, we would like to be able to include instructions about what people making Grant Requests should include in that box. Right now we have some "Portal Content" text that provides those instructions, but we feel the instructions would be followed more consistently if we could change the name of "Description" -- to utilize this change effectively, we would also like to see a character limit for the box…

  20. The donor submitted grants request through the Portal that exceed the fund balance and available cash.

Currently, there is no setting or hard stop in place to prevent a grant request from exceeding the available cash. When a request is created that surpasses the total available amount, the system displays a warning message indicating this—but it still allows the request to be submitted.

I recommend implementing a control that automatically subtracts the available cash each time a grant is made, ensuring that future requests cannot exceed the remaining balance.
