  1. Affiliate portal users, who can recommend a grant from one of multiple funds under the Affiliate, are unable to search for grantees in the new portal like they could in the legacy portal. They can manually enter a grantee or select from a previous grantee and then select the funding source.

    If the user has the grant request permission on behalf of the affiliate, they should be able to search for a grantee and then select the funding source. Searching now generates an error to contact Foundant support (we'd also prefer users aren't directed to contact support).

  2. Please add additional fields to the Grant Request settings in CS/Portal. We need additional fields to capture the fund advisors' recognition for each grant request.

  3. We have a long list of funds and so do not use the default card-style view for the Giving Hub because users have to scroll VERY far down to view all. Instead we use the "list view" for the Giving Hub, so it would be awesome if we could have fund advisors land there when they select Donate from their fund advisor portal, instead of on the card view.

  4. It looks like our fundholders don't have a way of seeing "inactive/active" data about donors in their portal, which can cause problems when they download the list to send cultivation and stewarding letters.

    It would be great if this could be added as a column to the donor reports they can pull in the portal.

    As a result of lacking features like this, many of our fundholders have to use a separate donor CRM to support their cultivation and stewardship efforts, which is silly!

  6. Please prompt the fund advisor to confirm that they want to Delete or Cancel a Grant Request before the record is deleted or cancelled. It is too easy to remove a grant request by accidentally clicking on those action choices.

  7. Total Contributions and Total Grants should be customizable. When using lookback dates this wording is misleading as the totals don't include data that precedes the lookback date.

  9. We are thrilled to have the ability for our fund advisors to search Candid. However, there are still too many clicks in the process and it is buried. Our donors don't want to think about whether a grantee is already in the One Valley database or not. Please make Candid the default search for "search for a new grantee". Or let us choose that as a setting. If the fund advisors add an org that is already in our database, it is easy to manage through the CSuite grant request bucket. This would simplify things for our advisors.

  10. Please add the option to rename "Other foundation funds" in the Portal when fund advisors submit grant requests (Grant Request > Previous Grantee > Other Foundation Funds). Changing the name would help fund advisors better understand how to use this drop down.

  11. Please change the Allow Profile Edit setting in Portal Settings to be on a per designation basis as opposed to an all-or-nothing setting.

    For instance, it would be great to allow fund advisor to edit their profile information in the portal but restrict nonprofits from doing so. This is not currently possible as the Allow Profile Edit setting applies to all or none depending on whether or not it is enabled.

    Essentially, include the Allow Profile Edit checkbox on each designations' settings as opposed to just the general profile settings.

  12. When you change the Navigation or Tab, these changes should extend to the title on the page. For example, currently if you change the left side navigation "Donations" to "Gifts", Donations will still show on the inside of the page above the listing of the gifts.

  13. In the Portal for a Fund Advisor, on the donations tab of a fund, I see the description; however, I have to click into the Donation ID or Export to see if there's any tribute information. It would be great if there was a way to show the tribute information on the initial donation listing page and not have to click into the ID or export. Thanks for considering!

  14. The Legacy Fund Advisor Grant Request page had a "side by side" styling with "instructions" on the left and the grant request submissions on the "right". The new Fund Advisor portal Grant Request page has a "vertical Top to Bottom" style so that the "instructions" or Header is on the top and the grant submission are on the bottom. Unfortunately, this means that the Fund Advisor cannot see the listing of their grant requests in the Cart which means that unless they scroll down, they cannot see the final step "Review and Submit" button that must be clicked on to…

  15. In the new Fund Portal, users have expressed several issues with navigation and confusion because of a lack of information:

    1. When in a specific page on the fund portal, the tab is not highlighted, nor is the text emboldened, in the left-hand menu to reflect what page they are on.
    2. Add a logout button in the top menu options without clicking through to profile.
    3. Add customizable text options to the Profile page - we currently don't allow users to update their contact details while we are merging profiles on the back end. We want to add text to let them…

    Request #2 and #3 are complete. There is a content block that can be customized in Portal Options: Portal Options>Portal Content>Profile tab>portal_profile_header. The option to logout has been moved to the top menu next to change profile.


  16. In the new portal, when a grant catalog is visible to fund advisors there are two options after you choose to donate to the grant catalog - 1. complete a donation through the Giving Hub, 2. choose Grant Request to request a grant through the fund advisor's DAF. We currently only market our Grant Catalogs to our DAF holders to encourage them to use their DAF spendables to support local non-profits. It is confusing to have both options available. Could the "Donate" option be turned on or off at our discretion instead of always included?

  17. In the new portal there is an option to rename the Grant Request left navigation menu tab, which is great. However, the persistent Create Grant Request button on the top left is not something to rename. So if we want to rename the left navigation to "Recommend a Grant" which is the language our fund advisors are used to seeing, the language of Create Grant Request is not consistent.   18. Please add a content area to the "change profile" page of the Portal. If someone logs in and has multiple profiles associated with the same primary email address, it would be great to have the ability to add some instructions for our fund advisors, donors, etc. about which profile to select in order to accomplish their desired task (donate, grant request, etc.).
