Customization of the Organizational Information Form
It would be incredibly useful if we could customize the Organizational Information form that organizations fill out when first registering with Foundant. By this I mean not just removing fields, but adding new fields, changing character counts, adding instructions, and changing the layout/order of the fields. For example, it would be very helpful to have organizations include their full legal name/fiscal sponsor's legal name in the organizational information page, rather than having to include that as a question on the LOI/Application each time an organization applies.

Absolutely, this is critical. We only want 501(c) 3 organizations to register. Ideally, an org that is not should be denied registration.

I would like this as well! Additionally, I would like admin only fields for this. Specifically, we have "flags", so to speak, for some organizations (such as, pause funding until 2020 etc). It would be great to have this somewhere more prominent than in an organization comment.

Yes, being able to add some custom fields at the organization level is something we very much would want to do also. We are just now implementing Foundant and currently our work around is to create an "internal fields" process with the custom fields we want to use. We plan to categorize our grantees by field, size, geographical focus, stage, and other things. Yes, we could put this in each grant process but we tend to have lengthy relationships with our grantees and it makes more sense to track this static information at the organization level instead of inputting it with every grant.

Absolutely! We capture a variety of organization "demographic" data that currently our grantees have to re-enter each time they apply because we need the data attached to each particular request. Being able to completely customize this page would be a huge bonus for us. Great suggestion!
