  1. I would like an option to complete multiple grants all at one time, but not ALL grants. Our organization utilizes this function to track when our organizations have submitted their completed grant reports on how funds were used. We process grants and two different types of scholarships. We don't need grant reports for scholarships so I want to mark them complete right after processing them. Right now though this is an all or nothing feature from what I can tell so I have to manually go into each grant and complete it because I don't want to bulk complete all…

  2. We should be able to send grant letters in bulk, not just by check batch. Similar to how you can check the box for the tax receipts you would like to send all at once.

  3. We have many donor advised funds with multiple advisors. There are often times when they want two or more advisors listed on the same grant. Is there a way to add this option? Otherwise we need to contact the grantee and let them know all of the advisors involved in a grant.

  4. I think grants in the various buckets used to be sorted by grantID by default, but now I can't tell how they're sorted. I know I can choose any column to sort by, but can it go back to default sorting by grantID like before? Thanks for considering.

  5. Could you please modify the grant description field so that it automatically wraps text when adding or editing descriptions?

    Currently, the field allows up to 255 characters, but it's challenging to verify entries because we can't view the entire description at once. It would greatly improve usability if the description text wrapped within the field during data entry, allowing us to see the complete description without having to scroll. Once the grant is saved, we can read the entire description in one field but still have to scroll when editing.

  7. When importing a batch of grants, you should be able to specify an expense account at the time of import. Currently you can't, so if you import a huge batch of grants that needs a specific expense account, you have to go through and individually edit each grant to the correct expense account anyway, which defeats the purpose of being able to batch import grants.

  8. For the clients that are using decision date on the grants & scholarships without having GLM or SLM there is no way to set the decision date via the front-end imports. It would be beneficial to be able to import into this field with the front-end imports to allow for efficient processing of grants & scholarships. As it is right now once those records are imported the decision date has to be manually updated 1 by 1 in CSuite.

  9. We realize there was an Idea Lab suggestion to have an Optional Grant Letter. It’s been marked as implemented, with the suggestion to separate check batches. That’s a bit unwieldy, so we’d like to propose a better idea.

    We’d like the ability to have default settings for grant letter production, based on the fund. The idea would be that at the fund level, we could specify its grant letter default, either a grant letter or no grant letter. That new field added to funds should be included in bulk edit for funds, so that we can easily establish them. Once…

  10. It would be extremely helpful to our workflow to have the Grant Administrator included as a column. If blank, this lets the team know the grant needs further work before it can be paid. Without this column there is no way to tell if an administrator has reviewed the grant.

  11. Ability to add a grantee as a beneficiary to a fund more for more than once would be helpful. We have several funds in which the same grantee is designated for two very different purposes and different percentages. The current text field isn't large enough to account for multiple purposes, and having two separate line items would create the individual spendable grants when creating them in bulk, which would be extremely helpful.

  12. Currently the grant notification to grantees includes one default email and the option to manually add a second email notice. Is it possible to allow us to have a second default email load rather than adding manually. We have a number of grantees who have two people they want to receive a notice and it is not conducive to have to always remember to add the second person.

  13. When posting a grant, the system should check the balance of the fund no matter what the grant date or posting date is. Currently the system only checks the fund balance and gives a warning message if the grant date and date it's being posted are the same. If the grant date is in the future (as all of ours are), the system will allow you to post grants over the balance in the fund. As we are not posting grants on the same day as the grant date, it would be ideal if the system would give a warning…

  14. Hello - it would be wonderful if a copied grant would automatically change the Grant Date and the Payment Date to the new date. Otherwise the copy function is really only partially helpful. Thank you!

We like having the option to have more text in the long description for grant catalog requests, but sometimes this leads to very lengthy descriptions (more than our donors likely want to view as they scroll through the catalog). It would be great if we had the ability to set a character limit.

  16. It would be helpful to have the envelope function in grants to add the full contact person name when printing envelopes. Also when exporting the grant data it would be helpful to have the full contact name to the export for merging envelopes to print not just salutation. In my export you can see Salutation and Label and the label on an org profile the label uses the org name. Every time I export I have to go research the persons full name for envelope.

  19. Add a row to Grants and Grantee profiles that allow us to select Qualified Donee as an option for Organizations/Profiles as qualified donees are eligible to receive grants. Currently, with AJAH turned on and the word "Qualified Donee" in the FedID field, it does not allow us to check or process a grant therefor, we need to keep AJAH off and manually check the charity status for each grant. This may also include bypassing AJAH charity check if Qualified Donee is set.

It would be nice for the Grant Document to be available to print prior to Approving and Posting the Grant...this would come in handy if the individual that typically signs the grant document will be out when the grant is actually paid. This way the document is signed and ready to be enclosed with the check payment
