Organization of attached files
It would be great if we could have a way to organize the files attached to a fund or profile... some type of folder feature?

Hi all - a new enhancement was released today related to File Organization. Here is the release note: This feature will allow Users to create categories for file organization. Files are sorted alphabetically within a category and can be labeled sticky to remain at the top of the list. In addition, the date added will be included in the File list and new edit functionality will allow a user to edit the file name without removing the file and reattaching. The categories will be collapsed by default.

I vote for this request! It is imperative that Foundant create a solution where a DAF grant letter is uploaded onto the grant is also simultaneously uploaded onto the the donor portal. Our team, having to upload these letters twice, is inefficient and a waste of precious time.

I actually prefer the documents be attached to the specific records (voucher/grant) so as to not clutter up the fund record itself. My request would be that the 'Attached Files' section, on any record, at least just include a 'date uploaded' column, and be sortable.

It would also be nice to not have to upload documents on different pages - i.e. the grant award letter on the Grant page, but also on the Fund page. If there was some central location or permission sharing on one page that would be very helpful and save staff time uploading in multiple locations.

We have been asking for this as well. The fund and profile folders in FIMS made it very easy to access information, especially if you are on the phone with a fund holder.

YES! We currently use these four folders in our fund e-files that we'd like to upload to the funds in Csuite: Distributions, Documentation, Gifts, Miscellaneous. If we could have the ability to create folders like these and then sort by date within the folders (or even create sub-folders), it would be wonderful! Thanks!

Any type of organization would help. The files are shown in most recently added order. Although subfolders aren't supported (but obviously would be great if they could), it would be nice if any kind of sort was available, or if they could simply be sorted in alphabetical order, either by name or description. That way we could have a naming scheme and create some organization to the listed files.

I agree--it would be helpful if all of the attachments were on the fund's main screen instead of being scattered among vouchers, checks, deposits, etc.
