Income statement - YTD over YTD comparison
We appreciate being able to run YOY comparisons, but we would like the ability to do a little more fine-tuning of the dates for comparative purposes. Currently, we can only run a full year comparison (or a full year vs a partial year).
As an example, what if we wanted to run a YTD report for Q3... and compare that to the same YTD period for the prior year?
If we try and enter 1/1/2018 - 9/30/2019 and select YOY, we get a report comparing a full year to a partial year. It shows us figures for 1/1/2018 - 12/31/2018 against figures for 1/1/2019 - 9/30/2019.
What we would prefer is a way to compare 1/1/2018 - 9/30/2018 against 1/1/2019 - 9/30/2019.

The YTD comparison option should also be available for other fiscal year periods so that one could compare 7/1/20 - 3/31/21 to 7/1/19 - 3/31/20 for example.

Would it work for you to select the "quarter" report in the drop down? I just tried it using 01/01/2019 through 12/31/2020. It shows each quarter and you can compare 2019 vs 2020.
It will show every quarter, but it could be helpful until they can come up with something to show just the quarters we want to view.

When this issue is addressed, it is important that we have the ability to compare YTD info for any period requested - not just quarters or six months. We like to compare YTD info on a monthly basis.

We would also like to be able to compare years for a fiscal years ending June 30.
