Express consent to share donor info with fund holders

In order to comply with British Columbia privacy laws, we need to achieve "express consent" to share donor info via the donation pathway and track that consent so that info is shared appropriately with fund advisors. I'd like to see CSuite help us achieve that via the donation process with the addition of a checkbox during checkout.

The checkbox could look similar to the “Donation in Honour of” checkbox and read something like:

[_] Yes please share my name and contact information with the xxxFund Holder/Charity so they can contact me directly to share information about their programs and campaigns. Note that we do not share your personal information with other charitable organizations without your express consent. For information about our privacy policies contact privacy [admin email address].

Ideally, the fund advisor and contact info could be customized via the system data tab.

    Hi - we are trying to figure out how we can easily share donor info with our agency fund holders on outside gifts they get to their designated fund. Can you add this "opt in" feature in the online donation portal?

    As others have said, CanadaHelps has this functionality and it would be extremely helpful to add this to CSuite. I've attached a screenshot of their options.

    CanadaHelps offers this functionality in their donation process. Please do so that us Canadian charities can comply with privacy law.

    I like the idea of having a checkbox for our donors to decide if they want to grant consent, but I feel it would be best if each Foundation had the ability to select their wording for this area.

    Have the checkbox option availability for those who wish to use.
