Allow merged records to retain credit card information
It would be very helpful if you allowed merged records to retain the credit card information for recurring donations. I've lost several credit card numbers during de-duplication and reaching out to them to ask for their card numbers or to reschedule their donations is too time consuming!

We don't have a high volume of recurring gifts yet, but as our Foundation grows this would be something to consider. I think it would be an efficient update to daily workflows.

I don't have many recurring gifts yet but I hope that grows in the future. Has this idea been implemented? I think it's worthwhile. Calling donors to say their credit card information is no longer in the system could give them the impression we are irresponsible with their data.

I've recently set up a number of new Users and lost three recurring credit card donation records because CSuite forces you to merge the existing profile into the User profile BUT does not carry over the credit card info.
We now have to chase these people down to get their info again.

We discovered that when merging duplicate profiles created by Stripe, Csuite will eliminate the Stripe ID from a gift - which makes it pretty darn hard to recover the data for a recurring gift. Please set criteria to retain this ID and its associated data in merging profiles.
