Grant Letter emails should be included in an organization's email history!

8/8/2025Grants: Updated the Grant Document process to record the email history. This will allow users to see if emails were successful or bounced within the Profile Email History. When adding an email in the cc: field for the grant letter, the system will look for that email as primary on a profile record, and log it to the profile email history. If the there is no primary email found, no history will be recorded.

This functionality existed in 2022 but appears to have changed in early 2023. Did it move somewhere else?

We really need a way to track email bounces for grant letters. There is currently no way to know if the grantee received the information which is essential to ensure any grant requirements were communicated to them.

This is even more important for us now that we've switched to almost all electronic funds transfers.

we have Fund Advisor emails tracked for Fund Statements, Grant and Donation Notifications. Tax Receipts for Donations emails. We would like to include emails to Grantees with these other emails that are already logged.”…

Super important, as it's hard to tell if letters were actually delivered after processing (especially if an organization says they didn't receive it!)
