Permissions for every single Profile field!
Please offer the ability to set permissions on every single field in all Profile types, for both 'create' and 'edit.' In the same way Profile fields can now be designated as 'required,' can that logic be reversed to allow Admins to set permissions/access to each field according to group permissions? We have lots of staff creating and editing Profiles, and, DESPITE training (which is a lot of 'don't ever enter anything in that field!'), in those quiet moments when they are alone, staring into that bright, empty Profiles screen, they choose chaos.
Please make these permissions granular to the field level, for both Create and Edit.

Now that the Profiles enhancements are in place, we have Engagement and Relationships on separate screens, each with their own separate action options from the left menu. It would be ideal to make each tab Permissions specific only to that tab - leaving the ability for staff to Edit the main Profile info (contact info), while restricting any Editing of Engagement or Relationship settings.
While on the Engagement tab, the actions to Edit and Add to Campaign go away as options *if we restrict Edit permissions for Profiles as a whole* - likewise, in Relationships, the actions to Edit, Edit Links/Roles, Edit Profile Type, and Edit Interest Type also go away *if we restrict Edit permissions for Profiles as a whole.* All this is, IMO, good; HOWEVER, this also restricts the ability of staff to make address changes and other contact info updates, which we DO want them to be able to edit.
Anyhoo ... seems there is a better structure now in place to tease out these permissions more specifically per tab.
