Need Options for Household Choice on Donation portal
It would be helpful to have options for the new household choice on the donation portal --
EITHER an option to provide guidance on what to include in the household name (we have found that people are just entering the last name with no first names and we always include first names with the last name on the household).
OR the option to disable the household option on the donation portal. We are finding this is not really saving us much time. What we found in the past, when people wanted the donation to show both names, they will add both names into the individual first name field. In that case, we have to edit the record to make it a household record. But having the household option now is creating a worse scenario of not enough information so we would rather disable it.
The following enhancement was released on 10/18/2023: NOTE: This must be enabled in Donation>Settings to allow online donations from a Household.
Donations: Added a new setting for Donations. This will allow clients to enable the Household giving option on the Donation Portal. This will be a new Setting labeled: Enable Household Giving. Clients will need to enable this option for the Household Radio button to appear on the Donation Portal.

We have not activated the Donation portal for our Foundation since going live in CSuite. Asking the donor to put in last name and first name is a must. We have many donors with the same last name.
