  2. As local Community Foundations continue to compete with national DAF providers, we are continually asked to bring technology improvements that our donors are seeing elsewhere. One frequent request from our donor advisors is the ability to see when grant checks have been cashed by the grantee organizations they have supported through their DAFs.

    This request asks that you consider what might be involved in bringing this improvement, even incrementally.   3. The profile information link in the fund advisor portal is now located in the top left of the screen. We'd like to make it a tab, like the other sections, or have it on the top right of the screen. Location at the top right seems to align better with here people look for "My Account" or other similar profile information on other websites.

  5. It would be helpful if, in the donor portal, it was clear to the fundholder that the Description field is visible to grantees but the Notes field is visible only internally. We have donors enter info in Notes that they want the grantee to see (e.g. "Thanks for all you do, from Joe Smith"), and we have to choose to copy it into the Grant Description field (labor intensive) or ignore it.

  6. Recommendation: Use profile mailing label name, rather than household name for fund advisors

    Issue: our household records appear as 'last name, first name' so that we can easily alpha-sort mailing lists, etc. However, ,because the portal is pulling the household name to populate the Fund Advisors name(s) on the primary screen for each fund, those names also appear as 'last name, first name'. ..Several of our donors are complaining about the 'last name, first name' appearance.   7. Please show multi-payment grants in the donor portal with the status of the individual payments so that the donor can tell which payments have been paid. Currently the donor sees just the full amount of the grant with the status "Voucher."

  8. Our fund advisors would like to be able to see the In Memory of/In Honor of fields as well as the Recognition field of a donation. I would hope this would be an easy add to the fund advisor permissions.

  9. It would be great to have the ability to temporarily shut down the donation portal.

    We recently had an issue (our error--and of course Foundant helped us fix it!!) that caused fund balances to show incorrectly. We were worried, of course, about donors seeing bad information in the donor portal. While we could have taken the log in page off of our website, a fair amount of our donors have the site bookmarked, so still could have gotten in. We also thought about unlinking Fund Advisors on the affected funds, but we have over 800 funds, so that would have…

  10. We would like to be able to turn off the Grant Unpost email, as it tends to cause concern for Fund Advisors when minor changes are made to a posted grant. It would be nice to separate the settings!

Currently on the Donor Portal when the fund is a scholarship, the Total Grants amount on the Home page shows $0, even though the Grants From The Fund page shows all scholarships granted from the fund. It is confusing to our donors to originally see that $0 grants have been made from the fund, but then click in a different tab and see all of the scholarships/grants that have gone out of the fund. Can these two areas be connected?

  12. Please make Grant Notify specific to the advisor who made the recommendation. There are many funds with multiple advisors and only the person who recommended the grant should receive notification that it has arrived or is being paid. Telling all the relatives every time one makes a grant is intrusive.

  13. The portal gives donors the ability to set up recurring grants, but once they are entered, the donor has no way to edit them or cancel them without having to contact us.

    We previously used Donor Central and it gave donors the option to "edit" (which actually walked them through re-entering a new recurring donation but with the org info prepopulated) or cancel.

  14. Once a Fund Advisor submits a grant request, the information submitted in the Notes area is no longer visible to them. This prevents the Fund Advisor from having any visibility later on to ensure they provided correct instructions or wishes for their grant. Please make this a viewable field in the portal.

  15. Description on a Grant Request is a vague word choice that doesn't provide clear direction to Fund Advisors. There have been many times where FA's have entered a description of the grantee in this field rather than their grant purpose. Please update this field to say something like Grant Purpose or allow us to edit the name of the field.

  16. Ability for a Fund Advisor to create an installment or multi-year grant in the system like Recurring grants are done. Currently only communicated in Description or Notes and requires manual setup in the grant record.

    Provide greater visibility for installment grants in the Fund Advisor Portal other than leaving the grant in the Approved status until fully paid. Allow Fund Advisors to see when future grant installments will be paid.

  19. When Fund Advisors are entering in a grantee manually rather than utilizing the search, "Submit" can be confusing. I have had multiple FA's reach out concerned that they weren't going to be able to input the Amount or Description before hitting Submit. Please use a different word here that lets Fund Advisors know there is more to be done.

  20. How cool would it be if you could add a sticky note/flag to a portal log in (kind of like you can do with sticky notes in CSuite). I don't mean an attached file. I mean more like a flag that appears only for selected portal logins that tells that specific portal user something special.
