  1. Create a Board portal. A place to put documents, ByLaws, minutes, agendas, governance documents etc. Board would login here to retrieve documents for meetings instead of email and re-emailing with changes.

Although the current fund advisor portal element of the C-Suite platform does offer fundholders the opportunity to make grant advisements, the process is not very engaging and the design appears to the user as more of a back-office accounting process, rather than an engaging user experience. This is resulting in limited use by fundholders, resulting in more manual processing in the advisement and accounting work required in approving the advisements and processing the grant payments.   3. It would be nice to have the option to transfer/share the File Categories to the Fund/Donor Portal and be able to sort them as needed. ie. We share Thank you letters with some Advisors, by uploading and selecting the proper category in CSuite, it could sync over the Category and file to the files tab in the portal. This option would also make it easier to view for Fund Advisors.

  5. The portal gives donors the ability to set up recurring grants, but once they are entered, the donor has no way to edit them or cancel them without having to contact us.

    We previously used Donor Central and it gave donors the option to "edit" (which actually walked them through re-entering a new recurring donation but with the org info prepopulated) or cancel.

  6. Can the "Fund Advisor" section when viewing a fund be renamed to "Donor Portal" to more accurately reflect it's function? We have different levels of Fund Advisors. True advisors, statement recipients only, etc. Not everyone connected to a fund is a Fund Advisor which creates confusion within the system.

  8. Several of our Fund advisors have logged in to the Fund Portal to obtain a tax receipt, but are unable to access it because the gift was attributed to the household. Please update to allow a fund advisor who is part of a household to see the household tax receipts, in addition to their individual tax receipts.

  9. When donors submit a recurring grant through the portal, the request itself is listed in their grant history, in addition to each grant distribution. If we enter the recurring grant through CSuite, they do not see any indication that the grant is recurring in the donor portal.

    We would love for donors to see a similar record when we create a recurring grant to when they submit a recurring request, indicating that we have entered the grant as recurring, with the amount, frequency, and start date, as well as max recurrences.

  10. As local Community Foundations continue to compete with national DAF providers, we are continually asked to bring technology improvements that our donors are seeing elsewhere. One frequent request from our donor advisors is the ability to see when grant checks have been cashed by the grantee organizations they have supported through their DAFs.

    This request asks that you consider what might be involved in bringing this improvement, even incrementally. Included is a screen snip of the information currently available through a Fidelity DAF. The donor advisor can clearly see when the check was cleared, in addition to the internal processing…

  14. Fund Advisor donation notifications currently don't include tribute information, if the donation has been made in honour/memory of someone. It would be helpful if that was a field that could be added to donation notifications, as it's very important to some of our fund advisors to keep track of this for their own fundraising purposes.

  15. Rename Unsubmitted Grant Requests to Grant Cart ... people are used to having a cart. Right now we have to check the "list cart" to make sure donors aren't leaving intended grants in their cart. Also, any thoughts to send emails to donors if they have an unsubmitted grant in their cart to remind them? Like you receive if you left something in your shopping cart?

  16. On the Donor Portal (Fund Advisor Portal), we like the recent enhancement that allows a Donor to click on an individual Grant Number to see the payment detail. What we really need is the same feature for Recurring Grants, so that when the Donor clicks on the Recurring Grant ID, they see the grants that have been paid thus far as part of the recurring grant. It should also include the next date.

  17. The Recognition Name is not shown as a column on the Contributions tab of the Fund Portal. When the information is exported, the Recognition Name is shown, but that isn’t something that a fund rep is going to do every time they access the portal to look at donations. Donors are misled into thinking that the Recognition Name is being shared with the fund rep, when, in actuality, the fund rep has to make an effort to find it. Can this be added?

  18. The other day we had a check that printed on plain paper by accident. We had to adjust all the grants in the batch (cancel payment and then pay again) in order to re-print the check. Every advisor received a notice that payment was cancelled. This caused a lot of confusion. Is there a way to program CSuite so it does not send a notice when "cancelling" a grant payment?

  19. We are continuing to have problems with Fund Advisors telling us that they are not receiving system-generated emails from us. We believe this is because the name and the email address do not match. That is, our organization's name is in the sender name but the domain in the email address is fcsuite.com.

    Has there been any discussion to investigate the possibility of changing "no-reply@fcsuite.com" to what is entered in the "Default Email Reply To" setting in Systems Data?

    We believe this would pass more smoothly through spam filters.

  20. Please make Grant Notify specific to the advisor who made the recommendation. There are many funds with multiple advisors and only the person who recommended the grant should receive notification that it has arrived or is being paid. Telling all the relatives every time one makes a grant is intrusive.
