Photographs and modernization for Donation Pages
In reviewing some historical ideas, I've come across this:
So often, a photo tells the story. Most online giving sites have space for an image to accompany a story. As a Community Foundation, we often receive gifts given to uphold the legacy of a loved one. We would like the ability to upload an image for each fund.
and in that same string -
"The donate to a fund page is so bare and "sparse" as one of our donors said."
It still is folks - one doesn't even see the uploaded fund image on the subsequent donate page. How can we inspire giving when our donor facing pages are uninspiring? Foundant, you may have added that little thumbnail but nothing beyond that - we can't upload bigger images, tell a story, etc. So really I don't think y'all actually implemented the intent of the idea that @joscelyn rowe gave you in 2019 or what anonymous said in 2017...
The ability to add images to funds, events, nonprofits and grants in a grant catalog are now available in the new Donation Portal. Here is a link to the article on how to implement this feature in Foundant's support hub: https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/19944569982871-Donation-Portal
