Grant letter edits

Would make such a difference if we could make the mini edits we often need to do in a letter (to personalize, make a small correction, etc.) right in the platform. Downloading to word in order to make the edits and then being left with no record of the actual letter sent unless we re-upload it to just an attached file just adds to the clicks and time to do the task.

    Yes, this would be great for us as well. Not only for grant letters that we print, but also for grant letters that we are emailing. If we need to make a minor tweak to a grant letter before we email it, we have to download the letter, tweak it and then email it outside of the system. If we could tweak the letter in the system, have that tweaked version saved in CSuite and then email that version directly from CSuite that would efficient and keep our grant documents accurate.

    Right Gina?!? Please let's get more votes on this! I actually was midway thru typing in the same, forgetting I had already put a post in. PLEASE Foundant, we know you can do it!!! There's so much in there I'll never touch, but this, this is important!

    This idea is even more important now that grant letters are automatically generated! We also frequently have to make small adjustments to grant letters but the system adds the automatic letter to the grant, which is not accurate and very confusing.

    This should apply across CSuite, if possible. Having to keep a separate record of externally tweaked receipts, letters, fund statements, etc really defeats the entire purpose of having them created within CSuite, making the accessible CSuite-'final' version of these things up for debate. Of course, the elephant in the room here is that the fields available for creating system templates do not always correspond to what we need or want to have represented in a letter, etc - yet, in the case of fund statements, we also cannot export all of the raw information we need directly out of CSuite so we can do our own merges outside of the system.
