New Release - Alert of Grant Request not submitted on FA Portal
The new "cart" feature for Fund Advisor Grant Requests in the latest new release in the sandbox is nice. However, it seems there could be a possibility that a fund advisor has multiple grants sitting in the "cart" and not realize they need to go further to actually submit them. If they try to logout with unsubmitted grant requests, there should be an alert to the fact they have not submitted them.
- The following was released yesterday to update the Fund Advisor cart workflow: Fund Advisor: Enhanced the Fund Advisor area to have a new left-side menu called List Carts. This new menu will display any fund advisor grant request that has been created but not yet submitted to the foundation. This table will display the created date, fund advisor, Fund/Org, Amount, Grantee, and the Description of the a grant request. On the Fund Advisor Portal, we have updated the menu above the unsubmitted grant request to Unsubmitted Grant Request. The button for the cart option has also been updated from Review to Review and Submit Grant Request, to help the Fund Advisor process the cart. On the Review screen, Fund Advisors will now see the grantee's primary address as a quick way for them to confirm that they have selected the correct Grantee. If the Grantee is creating from Guidestar from Fund Advisor, the address will not display in the review screen since the Grantee has not been created as a profile within CommunitySuite.

With the new cart feaure, some of our fund advisors are not hitting the last "submit' button.... could we add the functionality to send an email to a fund advisor reminding them that they have grant requests in the cart? (much like retailers do now when we as shoppers leave items in our cart for an online purchase).

This is absolutely critical AND we should be able to report on items sitting in a cart unapproved. I have had dozens of grants not fully approved by donors sitting out there and am only able to assist the donors who have reached out. We have no way of being proactive here and this is really not acceptable.

We have had multiple fund advisors now not realizing they haven't submitted their grants, and I currently have no way of knowing that they are not submitted. This feature would be very important!
