Bulk Profile Updates and Note Additions
Similar to a bulk profile import, there should be a function to mass update features of profiles that all need the same update. For example, we recently pulled our 'unsubscribe' list from MailChimp after a universal email campaign and found that 406 people would like to unsubscribe. Currently, this needs to be done manually...going into each profile to select "do not email" and then adding a note as to why we are marking them this way. It would be fantastic to have an option to upload a CSV with a 'command' to mark profiles from the unsubscribe report with an action of either 'do not email', 'do not mail' or 'do not call' when these large groupings of edits are needed. Thanks!

Capacity to tag additional profiles in notes
Capacity to share notes between profiles would be awesome.
Example 1: Fundraising visit with a particular business. Visit notes could go on the business profile, but the note could "tag" additional profiles, such as the business staff members present at the meeting.
Example 2: We utilize notes to capture obituary information. Family members could be "tagged" on the note in order to share the information across profile records, rather than repeating the obit note several times. One entry, several tags = awesome!

Security Issue: Inactivating a User
We have a security issue that I hope can be addressed. We need to give someone the ability to inactivate a user without giving them extensive access throughout CSuite. This is necessary for immediate off-boarding. Right now, the only way to provide the ability to inactivate someone is to give them Edit permission on Users. Once you have that permission, you can add anyone to groups, sufficient enough to give almost anyone system-wide permissions. That’s sensitive and dangerous. We just want to give someone the ability to do user maintenance functions, such as resetting a password, unlocking a user, or inactivating one, as mentioned, without further permissions. In our case, we have a third-party IT group supplementing our support, so it is an important need.

Fund Created Field - not a date stamp
For us the Created date for a fund is the date the fund agreement was signed which is never the same day we are creating the fund in Csuite. This field used to just be a date field and then turned into a date stamp. Now after we create the fund in Csuite we always have to edit the date stamp to be the date the fund agreement was signed. And being a date stamp, we have to be sure to only edit the date and leave the time in the field or the system won't accept it. This field would be more efficient to us to just be a date field.

Bring back the option for archived campaign to show on a profile!
I love the ability to archive campaigns and get them off the campaign list, but we would like to be able to continue to see some of the campaigns on profiles. We track programming participants through campaigns and we would like that history to remain easily visible on their profile.
11 votesThere is an option in the left side menu to list all campaigns. Selecting that will bring up a filtered list of all campaigns for that profile.

Create custom view or add columns to donation bucket list
I know the ability to create filters and load them exist, but we are still left with the same columns. It would be great to add additional fields to the view.

In Campaigns, allow for bulk deleting of profiles that do not have rsvp 'yes'
Add ability to bulk delete profiles that do not have rsvp 'yes' in a Campaign so only those profiles that are expected at an event are on the list. This would be hugely helpful at event check in to make the process move quickly. Also add option to sort by guest last name in the Campaign profiles tab.

Add "Are you sure you want to copy?" to all copy buttons
The copy buttons don't require any confirmation that you actually want to copy prior to the copy being completed currently. This is an issue because it is often next to "edit" or "merge" buttons, so it is fairly easy to mistakenly click from time to time. Additionally, it can be fairly easy to miss that you did copy the record since the only indication is a refresh of your screen in most cases, so this can result in duplicate records and confusion. A simple screen asking if you want to copy this record would avoid this without causing too much disruption to intentional copies.

Add Report Name, Number, and Details on Export
It would be nice if the report information (name, number, report details, filters, etc.) could somehow be added to the csv export similar to how it is added when you export Audit Reports. Sometimes my team will run a report and just send me the csv file. It'd be nice if I could back track and more easily find which report their data is based of.

Task ID Hyperlink for Custom Reports
When building a custom task report, would like "task id" to be an active link so that tasks could be easily opened and updated from the report. This is currently available for "note id" in a custom note report, but not "task id" in a custom task report.

Flag Duplicate Addresses
Right now, the "duplicates" tab only flags profiles with duplicate name, email address, or phone number. Could it also flag duplicate addresses? We have many donors who may use a slightly different name when donating (like putting in "Michael" for one donation but "Mike" for another, so it doesn't flag it as a duplicate profile). If the system also flagged duplicate addresses, it would hopefully catch more of those.

Profile Type descriptions
It would be helpful if there was a description field that would allow us to further define a profile type to ensure there is clarity within the organization on what that type means to us.

Journal Entry Errors - Received Prior to Posting
Greater Milwaukee would like a feature to show/run errors for journal entries when they are sent for approval, not when posting. For example, if a JE is approved but has closed accounts, the error shows when posting (after approval) and needs to be edited - therefore sent again for re-approval.

Create a Transaction using the Fund ID instead of Fund Name
Greater Milwaukee would like a feature to create a new donation and new grant with Fund ID number in addition to Fund Name. We have many funds with the same exact name with no way to differentiate. This could mean money is donated to or granted out of the wrong fund.

Opportunity should show on Fund Profile
When there is an opportunity that is attached to a fund, it would be great if the opportunity showed up on the relationships tab of the fund, just like for individual profiles.

Fund Balance Check on Grant Posting
When posting a grant, the system should check the balance of the fund no matter what the grant date or posting date is. Currently the system only checks the fund balance and gives a warning message if the grant date and date it's being posted are the same. If the grant date is in the future (as all of ours are), the system will allow you to post grants over the balance in the fund. As we are not posting grants on the same day as the grant date, it would be ideal if the system would give a warning message no matter what the grant date is. I was surprised to learn this isn't how it's working, and it would be a huge help if this could be changed. Thanks.

Expand Pronoun Options
Recently I added a new record of a woman who's pronouns were listed on her website as She/Ella because of her Mexican heritage. Foundant gave me an error message that it is an 'invalid' option. I thought this box allowed us to type any text but I was wrong. Can this box just be open text like other fields in Foundant? This would be more culturally and generally inclusive.

Donation Portal Fund Grouping, Nonprofit Service Area, and Tabs
Thanks for all the great recent donation portal updates! I like that we now have the option to show the fund's grant type on the fund listing page. It would be great if there was also the option to group funds by their grant types like how the nonprofit directory works. We like that the nonprofit directory includes the grant types, but it would be great if service areas could be an additional way to filter this page. In addition, it would be great to be able to reorder the tabs that appear on the portal. We don't currently have many events and would like the Nonprofits tab to appear before that. Thanks for considering!

Optional Grant Letter: Proposed Idea
We realize there was an Idea Lab suggestion to have an Optional Grant Letter. It’s been marked as implemented, with the suggestion to separate check batches. That’s a bit unwieldy, so we’d like to propose a better idea.
We’d like the ability to have default settings for grant letter production, based on the fund. The idea would be that at the fund level, we could specify its grant letter default, either a grant letter or no grant letter. That new field added to funds should be included in bulk edit for funds, so that we can easily establish them. Once set, this grant letter setting would then carry over to any grants made from the fund. At the grant level, the choice could be overridden. That would help prevent all of the unnecessary grant letters produced today.
