  1. It's pretty frustrating for folks to have to remember all their passwords across C Suite / GLM / SLM / Compass and Idea Lab. Especially when they don't all update on the same schedule. Would be great to have some synching of the platforms.

  2. Create a Board portal. A place to put documents, ByLaws, minutes, agendas, governance documents etc. Board would login here to retrieve documents for meetings instead of email and re-emailing with changes.

  3. I know that Login As was intended to bounce the user out of their own CSuite login when used; however, I would ask that you reconsider this approach. From a Customer Service perspective, this is a nightmare. We most often use Login As when on the phone with a Fund Advisor (and now could be anyone with portal access), to help them troubleshoot either getting into the system or working with the system. If we then have to answer any questions that require us to be logged into CSuite ourselves, the portal user has to wait while the customer service…

  4. Please provide the option to list the school's name in the grantee detail section of a scholarship fund statement. This field is currently blank or will list the student's full name since the student is considered the grantee according to C Suite even though the payment was sent to the school. This is confusing for donors. This update would also protect the privacy of the student by including the school's name, and not the student's full name. We are not interested in the post by payment option as that feature can cause issues with financial integrity.

    After review by our engineering team, we are moving this back to proposed. The school name populates if using Post by Payment. The reason it does not without that option is that the scholarship populates the fund statement on the post date, and the school is assigned on the payment lines, which could be later than the post date.

  5. Foundant is considering integrating Docusign with GLM & SLM. Is this under consideration for C Suite as well? We'd love to have this integration capability on the C Suite side too.

  6. Instead of having two separate "entries" for a donation when a donor is covering the CC fees, it would be great for those two numbers to be combined and show as one donation. When this process generates two donations, i.e., $500 donation and $23.50 in credit card fees, when you run a report for the Fund Advisor to update them on the number of donations that the Fund received, the number is not accurate because it is counting some of donations as two.

  7. Currently on the household record, the Last Donation Date does not roll up all donations from the household members. So, if the household has not given since 2021, but a member of the household gave in 2023, that is not reflected in the Last Donation Date on the household record, it shows their last donation was in 2021. This is not an accurate representation of the household's giving. Please have all household and household members giving be reflected on the household record's Last Donation Date.

  8. Event Campaigns should be able to be created without needing to sell tickets. This would streamline online donations targeted for a specific purpose or campaign. The campaign could then have a specific URL and QR code created, like campaigns already do, but without needing donors to purchase a ticket, it could take them right to a donation page that is tied to the fund attached to that campaign. This would create more efficiency around event campaigns, continue the trend of online donations becoming more popular and accessible at events, and reduce the additional time it takes to manually attach donations…

  9. Can we please have the option to select birthdays without a year or even a specific date?

    Sometimes we may know the Month and Year
    Other times, we may only know the Month and Day, but not a year.

    It is nice to capture this information for donor development

  10. Ability to attach a PDF of an email (or any document) to Notes. Then full context to note is readily available to all users. If this were implemented, a note is created with coding etc. , add a one line summary followed by "see attached"

  11. My idea is for the Donations, Grants, and Vouchers on the dashboard to be outlined in a red box when there are recurring donations, grants, and/or vouchers to process. This is similar to what happens to Tasks when there is a task with a due date on or before today's date. It will make it easier to see what action is needed right on the dashboard.

  12. For audit purposes, it would be helpful to be able to change a fund group type at a point in time instead of changing all of history. We have memorial funds that come in as "Unrestricted" but turn into restricted scholarship funds (or others). When we change the fund group it changes the data for all of time which makes our ending balances for PY not match beginning balances in terms of audit categories.

    Right now we are closing the memorial funds completely and opening a new scholarship fund but this has us lose the donor/donation history for the fund.

  13. Emailing right from a profile. It would be helpful to be able to click on an email in a profile and have it populate directly into outlook.

  14. We currently don't have a way to get a report that shows both the opportunity tasks and their associated notes. Without this ability, any report available leaves out critical information, such as when tasks are completed, or when users enter a completion note. Can this be added?

  15. We would love to enable the option for fund advisors to run manual fund statements or view financials. However, if we enable this, they can run these on any time period, closed or open. Until we close a period, information in an open period should remain internal only and not be available to fund advisors as it is subject to change. We have donors who would get upset if they saw something change from one day to the next.

    Can the portal be configured to only allow financial reporting and manual fund statement generation for fund advisors within closed periods?…

  16. It would be so helpful to have the Grant Request primary screen be combined with the Grant Request > Choose Type screen. There are SO many screens for our donors to click through on the new Grant Request options. We liked in the legacy portal that you had the options on the same primary page. Also, would be helpful to have the option to edit the Type buttons text.

  17. A great enhancement would be to indicate which fields are required when creating a new record (profile, donation, grants, voucher, etc.) --- such as an asterisk to indicate that a field is required. This is a well-known standard.
    Currently, the only indicator is an error message when saving/posting.

  18. Fund Advisor donation notifications currently don't include tribute information, if the donation has been made in honour/memory of someone. It would be helpful if that was a field that could be added to donation notifications, as it's very important to some of our fund advisors to keep track of this for their own fundraising purposes.

  19. We would like to request that Foundant consider creating a scholarship directory similar to the Nonprofit Directory. We would like a place to easily share our scholarship names, descriptions, and photos to our students, parents, donors, and community. We would like to maintain this directory directly in C-Suite so that it can communicate externally and with SLM, if possible.
