  1. Freeze Profile and/or Fund Name at the top of the page

    when working in a fund or profile record it would be really helpful if the name was pinned at the top of the screen so that as you scroll down it is easy to see which record you are working in.

  2. One Log In Across Foundant Platforms

    It's pretty frustrating for folks to have to remember all their passwords across C Suite / GLM / SLM / Compass and Idea Lab. Especially when they don't all update on the same schedule. Would be great to have some synching of the platforms.

  3. Inactive profile should not allow you to process any transaction against it. (Gift or Grant)

    When a profile is marked INACTIVE, you should not be able to cut a check or a grant or post a donation. We had a grant check go out in error to an inactive profile. At the very minimum there should be a warning that you are processing on an inactive profile. FIMS did not allow you to have transactions pushed through on an inactive record.

  4. Making someone deceased should automatically mark them do not call, email, mail

    When marking someone deceased - the system should automatically mark them and any linked household as do not call, email, or mail. We are spending alot of time updating this.

    Please add the ability to search profiles by EIN it would make it much easier to find the correct organization as SO MANY use similar names or DBA other names

  6. stock gift entry

    1- Ability to import securities - helpful as some donors contribute 20+ stocks at a time

    2 -Auto complete the description of the security (but field should be able to be edited if needed). The database pulls the high / low information so it should also be able to pull the name of the security

    3 - Keep the securities listed in the order they are entered. For some reason csuite re-orders (in no particular order) the securities after saving the entry making it difficult to review the stock gift entry

    Foundant is considering integrating Docusign with GLM & SLM. Is this under consideration for C Suite as well? We'd love to have this integration capability on the C Suite side too.

  8. Bank reconcile - approvals and log

    For stronger internal controls, our auditors recommended the addition of two pieces to the Bank Reconciliation process in CSuite:

    1. Approvals, to support our actual workflow. We have one team member that reconciles the account, and another that approves the work. It would be wonderful if we could enable approvals like we can with Vouchers or other areas of the system.

    2. Log, showing the date/time and username who processed the bank rec. If approvals were turned on it could document when each step happened. Rather than only being able to see a history report that it was done, we need to…

  9. Csuite files: Add "create folder" ability to funds/Donor Portal files

    Would it be possible to add the ability to have folders for funds and within the Donor Portal? We are finding the ability to add files useful, but having the ability to organize files into folders would be more efficient and make the files easier to find. Thanks!

  10. Deceased Fund Advisor

    I recently discovered that marking a profile deceased did not prevent donation notification emails from being sent to this fund advisor. Knowing this now, I will always delete a deceased profile's fund advisor access as well as marking their profile deceased. However, it would be very helpful if after a profile is marked deceased, the system would refer to that and not send any automated emails to that profile. Thanks for considering!

  11. Gift internal Notifications: Automatic notification of interfund donation to recipient fund advisor

    We process a great number of interfund grant/donations and really need for CSuite to generate an automatic notification to the recipient fund advisor informing them that their fund has received a donation from another fund at our foundation. Is there any way you can do this for us?

  12. Change Fund Group at a Point in Time

    For audit purposes, it would be helpful to be able to change a fund group type at a point in time instead of changing all of history. We have memorial funds that come in as "Unrestricted" but turn into restricted scholarship funds (or others). When we change the fund group it changes the data for all of time which makes our ending balances for PY not match beginning balances in terms of audit categories.

    Right now we are closing the memorial funds completely and opening a new scholarship fund but this has us lose the donor/donation history for the fund.

  13. Copy a campaign

    It would be nice to have the ability to "template" a campaign or copy a campaign when they are yearly (or more often) occurrences. It would be beneficial not to have to rebuild ticket types, prices, sponsor levels, etc. from scratch when you are working with a reoccurring event.

  14. Search profiles by address

    In addition to searching profiles by name, it would be helpful to be able to search by address. We often find duplicates that happened or profiles created and not linked to their household because a person's name was slightly different on the checks from one account than another, or because they were listed as Mrs. John Smith on the joint check and Jane Smith on their individual check. If we could check by address, we would probably catch more of these.

  15. annualized budget percentage on income statement

    On the Income Statement budget format, the variance amount and percentage only shows the variance stated in proportion to the current month. My board and I would prefer to see this amount as a percentage of the annualized rather than month to month budget. Can you please add an option for this such as a "budget ann" or "budget ytd"? Selecting the option "this year" will give me the annualized amounts, but there is no way to change the effective date and retain that format as it reverts back to the month over month.

  17. Choose When to Begin Charging Admin Fee for New Fund

    Oftentimes when creating a new fund, we won't want to charge an admin fee for the first quarter after the fund is initially set up. However, there is no option to choose when to begin charging an admin fee for a new fund. Currently, we either have to leave off the admin fee of the new fund and remember to return after charging the quarter's admin fees to add a fee code or we have to go ahead and add the admin fee on the new fund at setup and remember to review the list of new funds before charging…

  18. Set Address/Phone Type in Profile Creation / Field in Profile Import Template

    When creating profiles, it's very tedious that you can't enter the type of address or type of phone number and have to create then edit again.

    This is especially tedious when you're uploading 200+ profiles using the profile import and have to manually go to each profile to set the address or phone number type. At the very least, having it be a field for importing profiles would be nice.

  19. Include the type of profile in header (i.e. Individual, Household, Org)

    In the gray box where it says "Profile," include the type of profile it is (i.e. individual, household, organization). At first glance, it is sometimes hard to tell if you are looking at an organization or individual -- causing donations to sometimes be attached to the wrong profile. Or update the gray bar to different colors for different profiles.

  20. Deceased Household Profile to Show in Living Individual Profile

    When looking at a deceased household profile, it is easy to see that the profile is deceased as there is a red bar at the top of the profile page. However, when looking at an individual non-deceased profile who is a member of a deceased household, there is nothing on the living individual profile page to alert you that the household is deceased. It would be helpful if in the living individual profile, there was a note next to their household name that alerted you the household is deceased without having to click into it and verify.
