  1. When working with Endowment Funds we have to remember to calculate the spendable balances for the fund each year. It would be great if Csuite allowed you to set a date that spendable balances were automatically calculated for you.

  2. Recurring grants are not automatically added to the main grant bucket when they come due, whether monthly or annually. Instead, you have to manually open the recurring grants section and move them over yourself. This creates a risk of missing scheduled grants, especially if you only have a few. Automatically moving recurring grants into the main grant bucket at the appropriate time would prevent these oversights.

  5. We would love to see an option to add a thank you call/letter task to every donation made in CSuite. Allow this to be toggled on or off for every donation received or set to donation ranges ie: 20-500, 501-1000, etc... We can set a task now to go in and check for donations made, but if there has been none it becaomes a task that we can ingor rather than a triggered task. It woud be great to be able to set alerts or task to be assigned to any staff member to call or send a thnak you…

  6. Many foundations need a quick way to identify donors who have not made a gift within a specific date range (for example, donors who have not given during the current fiscal year or within the last 12 months).

    Currently, users can filter the Donor Report by Last Donation Date, or view Year-over-Year donation columns, but there is no simple way to directly filter for donors who have not given between two specific dates.

    -Identify board members who have not yet made a gift this year

  7. in some areas of CSuite when you click "Attach File" you are given the option to check a box that says "External", however other areas such as vouchers that check box is not available.
    As a user I would like the option to attach external links in all areas where "files" would be attached, this would allow my team to link to our Sharepoint rather than saving in Sharepoint and in CSuite.

  8. We have a lot of schools with similar names. For example, we have about 25 profiles associated with The University of Texas system. It would make identifying the school much easier if you could search for the profile id of the school on the student record instead of only being able to look for the name.

  10. CSuite would benefit greatly from having a comprehensive system-wide audit trail that logs all user activity across every module and function.

    Recently we discovered grants had been entered using the “Create Spendable” function, but no user log was available to identify who performed the action. Without that information, the only way to determine what happened is to ask staff individually if they made the entry. When you have multiple staff entering grants, this is important.   11. We like the new donation batch entry screen, but please add the option to attach a file for documentation that is then automatically attached to all donations created through the batch process. Otherwise, we still have to go back to each created donation and attach the documentation for audit purposes.

  12. The listing of beneficiary opportunities on the Org relationship tab is great. However, could you please add the donor's name on that listing? We don't know who these donors are because there is no name listed. This would be very helpful.

  13. We are using opportunities and opportunity tasks to help with reporting on development activities. This often requires creating a number of tasks to detail some of the ongoing activities in a more dynamic way than is offered by a recurring task.

    I would love to see a new function in opportunities to add a "Task Flow" which would add a list of tasks and time frames at once. These flows could be CUSTOM designed for different development activities in an ideal world and could even further follow advanced logic if built out completely.

  14. As a large foundation, we believe the proper way to manage grant approvers is by allowing specific users authority at the fund level. More specifically, this is almost always based on Fund Group, SubGroup, Division, or Segment. It’s very difficult to manage this, though. When assigning approvers, you have to manually choose each fund they can approve, one by one. There’s no way to filter the list of funds, and there’s no batch update function. I would like to have a printable summary for a Donor Profile (or others) that includes the Profile Information, any Profile Types or Opportunities associated with the Profile, Engagement Strategy, and Notes. When I go into a donor meeting, this would be a great tool to capture the relationships and recent actions with a donor and to have handy during our discussion.

  16. While there is the current ability to copy (duplicate) notes, it would be extremely helpful to have a Connected Profiles field, just like we are able to do with Opportunities. That way, if a note needs to be updated/edited, all connected profiles will show the update/edit. As of now, we'd have to find all copies of the note and update/edit each one separately.

  17. Allow Potential Duplicates to be separated by type of profile: for example separate potential duplicate org profiles from potential duplicate individual profiles. In the screenshot included, you'll see individuals and orgs are in the same list.

  18. Provide the option to change the name of the button in event registration from ticket to something else in order to customize for organizations. Example we do not use the language of ticket but reservation since we do not physically provide tickets for an event.

  19. When we email customer invoices the primary email is the default email, even if there is a separately marked pay email on the profile. Invoices should default to going to the pay address, not the primary. If you email invoices individually you can select what email address to use but you can't see which email is marked primary or pay unless you go back to the profile which is tedious, and the bulk email does not even list the option to switch the recipient email .   20. My team finds it incredibly helpful to proxy in / login as a donor to help them navigate the portal. Right now, if you have the proxy in permission, you are able to make grant requests and changes to the constituent's profile and fund. The system log does not mark those actions as the person who proxied in. It marks those actions as though the constituent made the changes. This is critical for audit purposes and creates several security and control issues.
