  1. Add email as a Field for Fund Statement Merge

    Please add all profile fields to the available fields for Fund Statements, especially email fields! We write marketing letters that go with our reports/statements, and this semi-annual process we would have liked to include their email address as we're getting ready to roll out the Portal. But since we can't, we have to merge the letter separately and run reports/statements separately and combine them by hand.

  2. One Log In Across Foundant Platforms

    It's pretty frustrating for folks to have to remember all their passwords across C Suite / GLM / SLM / Compass and Idea Lab. Especially when they don't all update on the same schedule. Would be great to have some synching of the platforms.

  3. Keep Sections Collapsed Across Profiles/Funds

    Some sections of information on fund and profile records (and probably other records too) are not relevant for all staff members to see. It would be great if individuals could collapse a certain section and it would stay collapsed when they went to other funds and profiles in CSuite instead of having to collapse them on each profile.

  4. Vendors Paid report parameters

    Currently organization grantees are not pulling into the Vendors Paid report for 1099s even when the vendor record has the "need 1099" box checked. We often pay organizations with grants, and a few of them need 1099s. The IRS does not care whether or not the income was from a "grant," so please remove the parameters that are not allowing these organizations to pull into the Vendors Paid report so we can correctly issue 1099s!

  5. "Scholarship-student name withheld" language on fund statements

    Since this language is hard coded, it might be nice to soften it a bit. "Recipient name private" or some such language that explains why the name is withheld.

  6. donor address and profile address

    When a donor has a change of address, there should be a way to make sure that it is changed everywhere it appears. Currently, the donation address stays in the system and the system will occasionally pull that incorrect address when we are pulling data for a mailing to donors. There is no value to having an old primary address associated with a donor's current profile. It's crazy to not know where to pull for a simple mailing - we should not have to think about it.

  7. Rounding issue on Stock Gifts with Multiple Stocks

    When a donor gives multiple stocks at once, we often have a rounding issue on the sale when it comes time to reconcile the statement, which then requires a journal entry. This doesn't usually happen when it's only a single stock. It would be great if this could be fixed. Thank you!

  8. Duplicate phone number clean up in Profiles - don't include fax numbers

    Why is it the "work" number doesn't come up in the duplicate clean up area but "fax" numbers do? These are generally work fax numbers as well and it creates alot of unnecessary review in the duplicate area.

  9. Inactive profile should not allow you to process any transaction against it. (Gift or Grant)

    When a profile is marked INACTIVE, you should not be able to cut a check or a grant or post a donation. We had a grant check go out in error to an inactive profile. At the very minimum there should be a warning that you are processing on an inactive profile. FIMS did not allow you to have transactions pushed through on an inactive record.

  10. AP Aging Report

    Right now Foundant can only produce an AP Aging Chart for the current date, like today. However, this is a pretty common report requested by Auditors for a specific date, usually at the end of an accounting period, not the current date.

  11. Build out Note reporting.

    We use notes to track donor, professional advisor, and grantee interactions. The current reporting includes a ton of "employee" fields but no biographical/name/etc. fields for the associated profile, forcing us to analyze the data entirely in excel.

  12. Bank Reconciliation with Outstanding Items List

    It would be nice on the bank reconciliation to show a list of outstanding items with the totals at the bottom of the bank reconciliation, so it's a complete report which will tie into the Balance Sheet.

    Stewards are on our household records, but some completed opportunities are on individual profiles. When running reports, I need to pull steward name. Please add household steward as field in Opportunity reports.

    Please add report number by the report name so when a report is open, we can reference the number when communicating with Foundant via Chat or with other staff when creating reports for them, convenience...

  15. Report on contact info from individual profiles linked to household profiles

    We would like to be able to pull into a report the contact information (email addresses and phone numbers) from the individual profiles that make up our household profiles. These are currently displayed and visible on a household profile, even if the individuals’ email addresses and phone numbers aren’t on the household record itself. Yet if we pull a report on that household, we are unable to pull in the individual contact information from those underlying records.

    We populate individual records with phone numbers and email addresses specific to the individual, and we don’t want to have to add that…

  16. Scholarship Approval

    Currently, the approval process for a scholarship grant takes place toward the end of the grant process after vouchers are already created by using grant approvals. Some organizations have an approval process that starts toward the beginning of scholarship processing (student profiles are entered and updated and then scholarships are created. Once a scholarship has been created, then a second reviewer is required.). I'd like to propose a scholarship approval process toward the beginning of the scholarship process (similar to where the "post" button is, but for "approve and post).     The more we use CSuite, the more we want to use it lol! Would be great to be able to add letter templates for general correspondence for mass mailings - using the fund and profile fields together in one document.

  18. Create a "generated date" field for the on-demand "manual fund statement" function

    The "generated date" field for fund statements is great but can't be used for those statements generated "on demand" using the "manual fund statement" function (or perhaps I am using the field incorrectly?). would be a great feature to have to know as of what date the document was created, without having to manually adjust.   19. Donation Custom Reports - Add Donation Create Date

    We have a need to see all donations created in the past week. We've been basing that on donation date, but you can enter a donation in the current week with a donation date before the current week, like when public securities are donated at the end of the year and it’s important to have that date for the donor. That’s one example. We really need the donation create date added as a field we can pull and filter on.

  20. Improve Internal Grant Field Upon Initial Entry

    It would be nice if the internal transfer grant fields upon initial entry would reflect the same fields for external grantees. Namely the "grant summary" so you don't have to go back into the grant and select "edit." It saves times.
