Amount-Based Grant Approval Thresholds with Assignable Approvers
Clients need approval tiers configured by grant dollar amount (e.g., grants over $50K require VP approval) rather than percentages, which don't reflect how most organizations structure financial controls. The addition of named approver assignment per tier would further close a workflow gap that is creating friction for clients with formal governance requirements. This is a broadly applicable enhancement with high adoption potential across nonprofit and foundation finance teams.
Currently, this workflow exists for check approvals only, we are requesting it for grant approvals.

birthday notifications
I had an idea that could help strengthen donor relationships and enhance our customer service approach. It would be nice if the system could track donor birthdays and send birthday email or greetings.
It’s a simple gesture, but it communicates that we see and value our donors as people, not just as numbers or contributions. Small personal touches like this can go a long way in building rapport, deepening relationships, and showing genuine appreciation for their support and connection to an organization.

Re‑run a Charity Check Directly from the Grant Record
Allow users to re‑run a charity check directly from the grant record. Currently, users must navigate back to the organization record to perform this action.
Adding this option at the grant level would reduce extra steps, save time, and streamline workflows, especially when managing multi-year grant payments. It would also help ensure ongoing compliance by making it easier to verify charity status before processing grant payments.

Enable Charity Check Option from the Voucher Bucket
Grants can sometimes remain in the voucher bucket for extended periods and may require a charity check before processing. Currently, there is no option to perform this directly from the voucher bucket.
Allowing users to initiate a charity check from the voucher bucket would streamline workflows, reduce extra navigation, and help ensure compliance for grants that have been pending for longer periods.

Allow grant requests to be submitted when a fund's available cash balance is insufficient
Problem and use case:
Some DAF foundations/organizations operate in a model where grant requests are submitted before funds are transferred into the fund. The vetting, due diligence, and approval process must happen first, and the donor does not send money until after the grant has been approved. As a result, the fund will almost always carry an insufficient cash balance at the time a request is submitted.

General Ledger Selection by Year on Fund Profiles
In our previous software, we could simply select the year that we wanted to view for each fund in the general ledger by using a dropdown menu containing the year. Adding this option to fund profiles would be much easier and faster, and less cumbersome than running a general ledger search.

Grant Payment Date vs. Check Date
The payment date for grants should automatically become the check date. It doesn't make sense for the payment date to be the date it was approved by us and causes confusion with donors wondering why organizations haven't received checks when the payment date is before the grant date and/or before the date checks are run.

Add Donation Advisor as Receipt Template Merge Field
Simple, or maybe not so simple, request to add “donation advisor” as a receipt merge field option.
For us this would allow build out of conditional formatting related to acknowledgement of Donor Advised Gifts. See original support email below for reasoning and/or more details.

Customizable access to Donor tab of Portal
We would like to limit access to the Donor tab (and the options within it) in the Portal as we can with the Fund Management tab. It would be ideal to show/hide the Donor tab and the category options offered on each profile.

Tax receipt letters and grant letters automatically uploaded to Portal
When a tax receipt letter and/or grant letter is generated, have an option or a box to check to automatically upload it to the Portal. Right now, I save the letter to our server, then have to upload the letter to the portal. This is too many steps for the volume of letters that I create.

Mailchimp and Newsletter Opt In
It would be great if there was a way to sync those who check the newsletter opt in button on the giving hub to Mailchimp. Currently we are having to run a custom report to capture those profiles and manually add them to Mailchimp.

Fund Portal Recurring Donations to Advised Fund
Create an option so that fundholders can still set up recurring donations to the funds they manage. With the recent change from the left hand option to the Donate button, recurring donations to a private fund are no longer possible.

clear on hold grants
It would be nice if we could bulk clear grants that are on hold. For example we do approximately 250 spendable grants and place them on hold at the time so that they do not accidently get mailed out ahead of schedule. When time to cut the check, it would be nice if we could take all of them off hold at the same time. THX

Task/Note Types
When clicking on a Note/Task Type ID number under Opportunities, List Types, please add the ability to list all specific notes/tasks associated with that ID number. For example, when clicking a Profile Type category ID, you can click List Profiles, which displays a list of all profiles with that Profile Type. I want to see all the notes/tasks associated with that type.

The new design on the fund advisor page and security page are difficult to read
Please return the fund advisor page & security page back to the way they were. The sideway text boxes are difficult to read. No one should have to tilt their head to get their work done. Thank you
