  1. Needing a multifund receipt option for imports. We are planning to utilize the file import for donations when we have large campaigns to save data entry time. When we go to pull the receipts however it's doing 1 page per donation instead of 1 page per donor.

    I understand that we can manually enter the multi fund donation and get the same outcome but that is much more time consuming.

  2. Revenue Share for Deposits

    We get interest income from impact investments which are in our investment pool. We would like to be able to revenue share these deposits rather than do a negative voucher to allocate the interest income.

  3. As the new Fund Advisor portal is built out, we need the option to NOT show spendable balance on some funds. This could be as easy as a checkbox on the fund settings - Show Spendable or Not Show Spendable. Discussed this with Chris Sutton at Summit and he stated it would be doable. :)

    This a large pain point for us on our Donor Advised Growth funds which do not have to follow spendable but yet we still calculate it. Therefore, they end up with a large negative spendable balance showing on the portal which causes confusion.

  5. Have the ability on the fund level to set the spending policy start distribution date. Just as you can set an Admin fee start date have the ability to start a distribution date so that a fund can have enough investment income to distribute based on a spend policy.

  8. We would love the ability to export the balance swap screen to Excel. We have historically printed the potential swaps, evaluated, and then come back in to accept/deny the swaps but would love if we can export to Excel.

  10. Currently to change your Chart Info selection from one field to another, you must unselect the current field and then select your new field. Otherwise it will show Null for your labels or nothing in the chart values. Ideally you would be able to select your new field and it would automatically unselect the other field from that Chart Info type (Description/X-Axis or Data Value) since only one can be selected for the current chart types.

  11. When building a custom report, it would be very useful to be able to report on fields from multiple objects at once. Systems I have used with this capability approached it by starting with a primary object selection (donations for example) and then once you add the unique field for another object (profile id of the donor for example), your list of fields would expand to show all of the fields associated with that new object. Event just the ability to expand into 2 objects would solve a lot of cases where we currently need to pull multiple reports into…

  12. When you setup a campaign event you are not allowed to suppress the automated online donation tax receipt. So the donor receives the campaign event tax receipt and the online donation tax receipt. It would be helpful if foundant could add a check box to suppress the automated online donations tax receipt letter for campaigns without affecting all online donations.

  13. Could you please modify the grant description field so that it automatically wraps text when adding or editing descriptions?

    Currently, the field allows up to 255 characters, but it's challenging to verify entries because we can't view the entire description at once. It would greatly improve usability if the description text wrapped within the field during data entry, allowing us to see the complete description without having to scroll. Once the grant is saved, we can read the entire description in one field but still have to scroll when editing.

  15. Grant Types on the 990 report (from the "Grantees (Orgs)" option) populate based on what the grant type is in the fund record. When multiple funds provide the award, the field does not populate because it can't select from multiple fund records. Because this report is a cumulative report, and for 990 reporting purposes, it would make more sense for the grant type to populate from the grantee record. That way the field would always populate because it's based on one record, and it would always be applicable because the grant was serving the org's mission.

  20. When paying invoices or grants, it would be beneficial to have other payment types, or have the option to create custom payment types. There are some invoices that are auto w/d or paid online, and having to create separate electronic batches so they aren't imported in the NACHA file can lead to issues. Being able to choose between ELECTRONIC, and Auto Draft, or Online bill pay, something along those lines would be helpful.
