Searching for a former name of an orgnization - not DBA
Here is a common scenario. An org is fiscally sponsored by a church and then gets their own 501c3 status and changes their name. In foundant, we would update the org name to say (formerly XYZ Church). When evaluators see the church name - they often ask whether services are limited to members of that church even when the org has nothing to do with the church (e.g., a food bank). insert merge fields in questions
I wish i could use merge fields when building grant agreement forms. I have a paragraph called RECITALS that has project specific information in it. I wish I could use merge fields in the instructions questions....

date based third party reminder
Someone else requested it, but it was archived, so I would like to bring back into consideration third party reminders based on a due date (the application due date, if not a separate third party due date), instead of the date when the third party response was requested. Our application process opens several months before the application due date, and some requests are made right away. Not only will those recommenders forget by the actual due date, but it has historically seriously annoyed our recommenders to receive a reminder before the actual due date. Internal follow-ups viewable by applicant?
In line with Trust-Based Philanthropy, more and more foundations are completing verbal reporting with grantees, where the foundation staff completes the written follow-up form based on a conversation with a grantee. We have been doing this as an internal follow-up form, but would like the option for the grantee to view what we've typed into the form and confirm that it is accurate and complete before submitting the report and marking it as complete. Other than downloading each follow-up form packet as a PDF and emailing it to them for their manual feedback, is there a way to either:

Download Folders as one Document from Shared documents
Currently we have our Board Books stored in the shared documents tab of Foundant. Each Board Book folder has multiple sub files. Each subfile can be downloaded, but it would be nice to be able to download the entire folder which would include all the files.

bulk update
Howdy! We are trying to increase our usage of electronic payments for grantees and are updating tens and hundreds of profiles at a time.
As it stands now, updating ACH settings in CSuite require two separate bulk updates - one for ACH settings to add account and routing number, and the second for changing the default payment type. That means culling two reports to 'match' the profiles ID (which is the most labor intensive part of the process).

LOI Close
We really need the ability to close an LOI and NOT HAVE IT APPEAR on the Board Members' Dashboard. The only way to remove it is to - delete the LOI, Abandon it or Decline. Those options are confusing to the applicant, because we may be considering this grant for a future grant in a different process. There should be a way to keep it on the Admin Dashboard and remove it from the Board Members' Dashboard - because it confuses Board Members - who may not be very computer-savvy, but are doing their best in this digital world.

Process Summary as a field in Reporting
It would be useful to be able to pull the Process Summary in an email. Every year before I open the scholarships, I send the donors a copy of the criteria using word mail merge. This would be much simpler.

Separate Letters for eligibility quiz and applications
It would be very helpful to have a note go to the students automatically saying that their Universal Eligibility quiz has been successfully submitted and then a separate letter stating that they successfully fille out the individual applications that are part of the application

It would be helpful to allow batch email functionality within the "Organizations > Search Criteria > State" tool from the Administrator Dashboard. Option to Disable Question List Button for Branching Processes
We use branching questions in our grant application that are set to internal so we can branch an applicant to the application we want them to complete and not have multiple processes in our site. I just realized that when an applicant clicks on the "Question List" button in their site, this shows them ALL of the questions in our application, regardless of how the application should be branched. The fact that applicants can see the entire question list for an application seems to negate the purpose of branching. This is very confusing for applicants because they do not know…

You are correct in that all branch groups are displayed in the question list; we follow this as best practice for projects like project streamlining so that applicants don't become surprised by the amount of time the application will take them. We also encourage as a best practice that you add instructions to the branch groups for that visibility and communication explain when they will see that group.
However, Internal Questions should not be displayed to applicants. Please report this to our support team so that we can review it.

Automatic Scholarship Thank You note submission
It would be nice to hook a donor email to a scholarship opportunity so that students can automatically send them a thank you note from their follow up form. I know this would be possible to do through the third party field but it would be too much work to add the donor email to each follow up form. Plus, this would require us to give a donor email to the students, which some donors may not like.

Ability to export page URLs as a report field
In GLM, it takes a LONG time to navigate to a specific request. Summary of that process: home screen > search > organizations > type org name > wait for results to load > comb through all results > click on correct org name > requests > comb through all requests > click on correct request name > finished. That's a TON of steps.
It'd be very helpful if we could export the unique URL of all requests. I'm thinking it could be a report field? this would enable us to set up an offline spreadsheet containing direct links to…

Master Tribute Summary
I am currently having an issue where we are not getting a full picture of donations that include tributes. The Tribute Donation Summary report will only include the names of tributes for online donations if the donor selects to notify the family of the person, if they leave it blank it automatically marks not to notify. When checks or other donations are entered by staff the notify option is left blank in many occasions they are included in the Tribute Donation Summary.
